Story
Meet Princess Poppy! 😍😍 Her chocolate tri-coloring is gorgeous! Poppy is a young 10 mos old American Cocker Spaniel. She is a friendly and loving pup who plays with her foster doggy siblings very nicely. She loves toys and is always running around with a toy in her mouth. She steers clear of her fosters’ cat. She is very inquisitive and energetic. She loves to play fetch in true-to-breed fashion. She would love an active family to keep her busy. Poppy was kept outdoors by her previous parents but is being lovingly spoiled by her foster parents. She likes to sleep in their bed and enjoys many treats and toys. Poppy learned to do her business outside very quickly and asks to go out to the yard. She would do great with a doggy door. She is a bit shy meeting new people but she’s just a puppy who needs training and consistency and more socializing. She is very goofy and sweet and will certainly make the right person or family very happy. Poppy is ready for her forever family! Story
Chandler was found wandering the streets with another dog (Joey) , both scared and running on the side of the road. A kind samaritan caught them and made sure they were safe, and then reached out to us to see if we could  help. We took them in and tried to locate the owners, and were thrilled when we were able to find them! Sadly, after weeks of communication, it was clear they had no intention of ever picking them up, and Joey and Chandler were officially considered abandoned.  Chandler  is around 2 years old, and 15 lbs. He is a small mixed breed, although we have no way of confirming his breeds, we think he might have some Cocker Spaniel in him. We don't know what Chandler has gone through but he can be very very shy at first. And it took him about a week before he felt comfortable with us petting him, so a home that lets him come out of his shell slowly is the best fit for him. He loves to cuddle, play with toys, and follow you around. He does okay with other laid back dogs, but needs slow introductions, but also doesn't mind being your one and only.  His $300 adoption fee includes him being up to date on vaccines, microchipped, neutered and dewormed. Please let us know if you would like to meet this sweet guy and give him a forever home.  ##1829493##

Story
Meet Tyson, a charming 2-year-old male with a luscious, long brown coat. Tyson, a spirited Cocker Spaniel mix, found his way to Chihuahua Rescue in February 2022. This neutered fellow may be shy around new faces, but he's more than willing to open his heart if you'll give him a chance. Tyson's favorite pastimes include playful romps and leisurely walks, where he basks in the great outdoors. He's also a responsible pup, microchipped to ensure he's always safe and sound. With a little patience and love, Tyson is ready to overcome his initial hesitations and become your loyal companion. Give him the opportunity, and you'll discover a devoted friend for life!

Story
Name: Spanky Breed: Cocker Spaniel Mix Gender: Male (Neutered) Date of Birth: Approximately March 2020 🐾 About Me: Hello, I'm Spanky, a charming Cocker Spaniel mix with a heart of gold. I may have had a rocky start, but I'm on a journey of self-improvement and becoming the best version of myself. 🌟 Personality: I'm a sweet and gentle soul, but I can get easily overwhelmed by high-stimulation environments. I'm working hard on my rehabilitation to find my inner calm and build confidence. 🐾 Health and Safety: Rest assured, I'm microchipped and up-to-date on all my vaccinations to ensure I stay healthy and safe. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Home Requirements: I do best in a home without children, cats, or dogs larger than me, as these can be a bit too much for me to handle. I need a calm and patient environment where I can continue my progress. 🐶 Favorite Activities: I absolutely love a game of fetch, and I'm a water enthusiast! When the warmer months roll around, you'll find me splashing around in my beloved swimming pool. 🏡 Adoption Status: I'm not quite ready for adoption just yet, as I'm still on my journey to becoming the best companion I can be. But keep an eye on me, because I'm working hard to be the perfect addition to a loving and understanding family. Stay tuned for updates on my progress, and thank you for considering me as a potential member of your family! 🐾❤️
