Hi there — I'm Sari, a 2-year-old black and tan Cocker Spaniel with a heart as big as they come! 🐾 I'm spayed, affectionate, and ready to shower you with cuddles and gentle companionship. I'm social and friendly with everyone I meet, and I share an unbreakable bond with my sister Hana — we're a dynamic duo looking for a home where we can stay together. ❤️ We'd love to meet the family that's meant to be ours! 🐕

Story
Meet Barkley! He’s an energetic 4 yo Ruby Cavalier with love to give! He, like most Cavaliers, loves to be with you. He’s happiest and most relaxed with his spot—touching but not on your lap—on the bed or couch or nearby in his own tuffet. He’s very sweet and affectionate and generally a tail-wagger! Apparently, he would put on a little show for pity-affection with the Prison Program—so they would “rescue” him from the top of stairs… don’t fall for it—he handles stairs just fine. He likes being held and cuddled, he’s a Cavalier afterall! He knows most basic commands very well and he settles down in the house rather quickly; If he’s on your couch/bed and you’re trying to go somewhere, he may require a little extra coaxing… (he’ll choose your bed over almost everything else—except food!). He’s got a very gentle but eager mouth with treats and he knows what a treat bag sounds like. He eats and drinks very quickly, which can cause some retching so try to slow him down, if you can dosing his water and food to him or hand-feeding (you’ll come away with slobber but his tummy won’t be upset. 😊). Although Barkley is friendly with other dogs, he’d probably be happiest in a house where he’s getting 100% of the attention with some trips to the dog park to make some friends and frolic. He’s not aggressive at all but still wants to be the alpha and has a little stubborn streak. He’s also not a fan of being in the kennel when he knows your home and you will hear about it for quite a while, if you stick around. Early on, he also had some house and outside marking activity which I think we’ve corrected inside the house. I haven’t seen him hike (indoors) in about 10 days now. He may not love grooming, but he’s not bothered by it either. He loves walks and is good at keeping your pace, most of the time—and I’m sure if he was going daily he would only get better! He’s a very handsome boy who will completely charm you! Barkley is neutered, microchipped, up tp date on vaccines and HW negative.
