Story
🐶 Looking for a New Family for Lego 📍 Location: New York Lego was adopted as a young puppy but was sadly surrendered by his owner after three years. He grew up in an unstable environment with frequent travel back and forth to Boston, which made it difficult for him to form a secure attachment with his guardian. Because of this instability, in moments of fear, panic, or overwhelming stress, he has shown a few defensive or warning bites Lego needs a family who can meet him in person, understand his behavior clearly, and provide the consistent, reassuring environment he needs. City life is simply too overwhelming for him. With a quiet environment and a patient, steady guardian, Lego has every chance to continue improving and becoming more stable. The greatest hope is for Lego to find a peaceful home where he can finally rest. 📌 Basic Information Name: Lego Age: 4 years Gender: Male Weight: 25 lbs Breed: Jindo × Cocker Spaniel mix Color: Brown & White 🐾 Personality & Behavior People: Very fearful/reactive toward new people, warms up more easily to shorter women Children: Not recommended Other Dogs: Best as the only dog Shows resource guarding around food; must be fed separately Cats: Unknown Potty Trained: Yes Crate Trained: No Energy Level: High Touch/Handling: Uncomfortable with physical contact Barking: Quiet when alone; barks at doorbells or hallway noises when someone is home Escape Tendencies: None — manageable with “sit” and “wait” Walking: Martingale collar recommended; pulls with a harness Car Rides: Nervous initially, settles on longer rides Yard: Ideal, but a quiet neighborhood is also fine Living with Other Dogs: Not suitable 🔎 What Lego Needs Lego has fear-based reactivity. His current guardian has invested significant time, training, and management, and he has shown meaningful progress. However, Lego needs: A guardian experienced with reactive or anxious dogs A consistent daily routine A calm environment with low stimulation 🧡 Please Consider Becoming Lego’s Family Once he bonds, Lego is goofy, affectionate, and deeply loyal. He is waiting for a forever family who can provide the quiet suburban environment where he can truly thrive.

Story
Loyal, Affectionate & EnergeticMonty’s owner passed away suddenly in the hospital. He and two cats were found living in an apartment where they had only been receiving the most minimal care and food for weeks. Monty and the cats required a great deal of care after this trauma - which Monty’s Foster Mom gave him in abundance! Over the last 2 months we have witnessed Monty blossom and learn to be himself again in the safety of a loving home. He’s now ready for his forever home and a patient adopter that will give him a second chance and in return be rewarded with affection, loyalty and a fun companion.BIO: - Cocker Spaniel mix, 7 yrs old, Male (neutered)- Medium-sized (45 lb), Medium-High energy- Monty’s owner passed away and he was surrendered by the owner’s family member- Monty is house-trained, microchipped and has his core vaccinationsABOUT MONTY: - Loves people and will greet new friends with unsolicited dog kisses and tail wags. He also loves a good belly rub- Monty’s foster mom has been working to decrease his separation anxiety and within a short-time has seen great improvement, he can now be left alone for 4 hours without issue. While alone he is not-destructive or vocal.- Monty is not crate trained and does not like smaller, confined spaces- Monty is smart and loves a good puzzle or enrichment game or a game of fetch with his favourite rubber chicken MONTY’S IDEAL HOME:- Monty is eager to learn and is treat-motivated making him highly trainable- On walks he starts off excited but soon settles into a good pace, he’s learning he can’t always let his nose lead the way. He would do well with a backyard where he can exercise his role as Captain of the Snout Department regularly- Monty would do best as the only dog in the home- Monty can be reactive to other dogs he sees on a walk and has been working with a dog trainer on containing his excitement Adopt Monty and get yourself a loyal sidekick and a daily dose of unlimited love ??If you have any questions about Monty, contact his Adoption Coordinator at: cla98.ehs@gmail.com
