Story
🌟 Meet June – The Total Package with a One-of-a-Kind Hairdo! 🌟 June is a stunning 2-year-old blue roan English Cocker Spaniel—a rare gem in the rescue world. With her show-stopping swirl of curls, and endlessly wagging tail, June is the kind of girl who turns heads on walks and captures hearts with her sweet personality.Originally destined to be a hunting companion, June has some obedience and recall training—but now she’s ready to trade birds for belly rubs and target practice for toy bins. She's the perfect combo of brains, beauty, and a sprinkle of playful fun.🎯 Personality Snapshot: ➣ Adventure Level: 100/10. Every indoor nook and cranny and outdoor scent trail must be explored. She is the life of the party and a master adventure guide. ➣ Energy: Turbo mode outside, cuddle mode inside. She is a sweetheart. ➣ Training: Sit, stay, wait, heel, place. ➣ Social Skills: Great with kids, cats (all temperaments!), and dogs. Excitable but sweet. ➣ Curiosity: Unmatched. If something moves—bird, chipmunk, leaf—she’s on it. ➣ Affection Level: Professional snuggler. Will lay on your feet or your heart, your choice. 🏡 June’s Dream Home: June is looking for a home with someone who has Cocker Spaniel experience, patience, and a good sense of humor. She’s adventurous, playful, and delightfully mischievous. She loves to dig (gardening is her favorite “helping” hobby), chase water from the hose, and run laps around the yard like she’s chasing Olympic gold. She would thrive with: ➣ A fenced yard for safe zoomies ➣ Continued training and mental stimulation ➣ Plenty of outside time and someone who loves nature walks ➣ A family who appreciates her wild curls and her playful spirit ⏳ A Few Real Talk Notes: ➣ House training is a work in progress. Counter surfer alert—she’s curious and fast but smart and eager to learn. ➣ Potty training is 95%. She may have a few accidents when exploring a new home. ➣ Crate-trained. ➣ Great traveling in the car. ➣ Excellent on leash, whether exploring the neighborhood, trails or beach.June is athletic, sweet, playful, and one of the most joyful dogs we’ve ever met. Her tail never stops wagging, her heart is full of love, and her future family is going to hit the jackpot.Ready for a best friend who’s equal parts hiking buddy, snuggle bug, garden digger, and loyal sidekick?Adopt June. Because life’s just better with a little curly cuteness in it. 💙Check out this precious girls video:https://youtube.com/shorts/H2lm8I0q2JA?si=ajJDOPY9IlHkwwfxName: JuneBreed: English Cocker SpanielSex: FemaleAge: 2 years (estimated)Weight: 28 lbsSpayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Negative on recent testingMicrochipped: YesMedical: June has an abdominal wall hernia that requires repair - we'd prefer to do this when adopted so she can recover more easily - the procedure and visits would be covered 100% by Paws New England and performed at a partner veterinarian.BASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS:Good with Children: YesGood with Dogs: YesGood with Cats: YesAdoption Fee: $550.00 (includes transport fee when applicable)Location of dog currently: New EnglandIMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.
