Story
Cole is a smart boy. He’s very food motivated and knows commands like sit, lay down, speak, shake, stay and come. He loves to snuggle, he knows no personal space, he’s good with kids, good with other dogs, he will chase cats, but did live with one as a puppy and got used to her. He can be aggressive if he’s scared but has never actually bitten anyone, just growled and barked. He HATES the vet and has to be sedated for his yearly checkups every time. My infant is highly allergic to his fur and we are needing to rehome him asap but he needs to go to a loving home. Great for companionship

Story
Dixie is a purebred female brittany, approximately 3 years old, who is looking for her forever home.  She weighs about 36 pounds, and is a total sweetheart and very smart. Dixie was surrendered to a shelter, due to her former owner not having time for her.  She was previously a hunting dog, but it appears she may be gun shy. However, she still has great hunting instinct. Luckily, NBRAN stepped in and pulled her out of the shelter.  She was heartworm positive, but has now completed treatment.  Dixie is full of energy and loves to RUN! She will need a large fenced in yard, so she can do what she loves the most. She prefers to spend a lot of her time outside running and exploring the yard for critters. She also loves to just lay outside and watch the world go by.  She enjoys cuddling on the couch with her humans.  She is the perfect blend of a ball of energy and a calm cuddle bug. There needs to be another dog in the house, as that seems to comfort her and she looks to them for guidance.  She loves to play, but is a little shy at first. Loud sudden noises or quick movements toward her make her a little nervous.  She is a great car rider, is crate trained and housebroken. She knows her name, listens well and comes when called. She responds to "whoa" and loves "go hunt". She also understands "no". She is a typical brittany on a leash and will pull. She wants to follow her nose. She has not been around cats or kids, since she's been in foster care. However, given her hunting instinct, she would probably not do best with cats. And with her initial shyness, especially around loud noises, older kids would be best. Dixie is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. She is located in SC and is available for transport up to 1400 miles, with the adopter driving the last 100 miles.  Her adoption fee is $400 to help offset some of her medical expenses. If you're interested in giving Dixie a forever home, please submit an adoption application to www.nbran.org and mention her name. Story
WARNING: Extremely Adorable Brittany Boy Ahead Hiyaaaaa! My name is Jack Flash Yes… I know… cool name, right? Sounds fast and exciting. And while I can still zoom around when necessary, these days I mostly specialize in professional cuddling, snack supervision, and being ridiculously handsome. I’m an 8.9-year-old, 48 lb orange & white Brittany gentleman with soft ears, sweet eyes, and a heart that’s basically made of marshmallows. I’m neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm negative, tick negative, and fully trained in the very important art of stealing hearts. Things I love include: Treats Playing ☀️ Yard patrol ️ Hanging out with my humans Belly rubs (please and thank you) Other dogs Following you around like your fuzzy little assistant Now listen… don’t let the “senior” thing fool you. I still have pep in my step and plenty of love to give. The nice thing about us mature boys? We already know life is about love, naps, snacks, and being your very best buddy. I do need a physical fenced yard because a gentleman needs a proper place to sniff, explore, and keep watch for suspicious squirrels. It’s important work. Honestly, I’m just looking for a family to adore me forever… and maybe share a few snacks. I promise to repay you with loyalty, laughs, cuddles, and the occasional goofy Brittany smile. So… what do you think? Ready to let this adorable orange-and-white nugget become your new best friend? The adoption fee for OK/Jack Flash,  who lives in Tulsa, OK  is $350, (which helps to offset our vetting and allows NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members.  If you are interested in making OK/Jack Flash part of your family, please complete the online application by visiting www.nbran.org .  Please let your state coordinator know so we can get the ball rolling.  Also, please email the state coordinator of OK/Jack Flash-Melinde Waddle @ macgammy@gmail.com  Once approved by your state coordinator, I will setup talking to the foster of Jack Flash. Transportation can be arranged up  to 1400 miles with the adopter being responsible for at least the last 100 miles.July 12, 2026, 8:39 pm

Story
Blaine is a 5 year old tricolor mix who is 25 pounds of cuteness.  He was removed from a hoarding situation with two of his brothers. The boys were together their whole life and became dependent on each other. After a gradual separation process, Blaine is done with the drama and ready to strike out on his own!    Having some time on his own, his personality is beginning to show.  He is experiencing independence for the first time and seems pretty proud of himself. Blaine is very affectionate, but also likes his own space. He holds his head high and moves with guarded confidence.  Blaine is determined to fake it ‘till he makes it. Give this boy a chance. Watch him evolve and become the dog he was meant to be.  He is eager to please and walks well on leash.  Blaine is up to date on vaccines, neutered, heartworm negative, on preventative meds & microchipped . A home with a  physical fence would be best as Blaine loves to just run & sniff around. He would be great as an only dog or with another. He has never been around cats or children, but is a gentle boy.  Blaine is crate & house trained. Are you ready to open your heart and home for a wonderful companion? If so, please consider filling out an adoption application and mention Blaine at NBRAN.org.    Blaine’s adoption fee is $275 to offset vetting costs. He is currently located in North Georgia, but can be transported up to 1400 miles, with the adopter being responsible for the last 100 miles. If you interested in giving Blaine his furever home, please reach out to Karen Carr at kecarr72@icloud.com.   July 12, 2026, 8:39 pm
