Story
Meet Clara Bow, a one-of-a-kind puppy with a joyful spirit, an adventurous heart, and endless love to give. Clara is blind and deaf and was born with microphthalmia (underdeveloped eyes) due to her merle genetics. While this is a permanent condition, Clara doesn’t know she’s any different. She experiences the world through touch, smell, vibration, and sunshine, and she approaches life with confidence, curiosity, and pure joy. This special girl loves being connected to those around her. Whether she’s cuddled up next to her favorite person, following a canine friend around the yard, or roughhousing with her dog buddies, Clara thrives on companionship. She forms deep bonds and finds comfort in having friends nearby. Because of this, Clara is looking for a home with at least one friendly resident dog to help her continue building confidence and enjoying all of life’s adventures. Clara is playful, affectionate, and full of personality. She loves chasing the wind, splashing in the garden hose, sniffing out hidden treasures, solving food puzzles, and basking in the warmth of the sun. Watching Clara zoom around the yard with her signature bunny hops is enough to make anyone smile. Like any puppy, Clara is still learning. She is making great progress with potty training and consistently uses potty pads or goes outside. She learns through positive reinforcement, gentle touch cues, consistency, and patience. Once she maps out her surroundings, she navigates them remarkably well and quickly settles into routines. Because Clara experiences the world differently, she is looking for adopters who are ready to embrace her unique needs and help her continue thriving. Previous dog experience is strongly preferred, as Clara’s care and safety require thoughtful management and understanding. What Clara lacks in sight and hearing, she more than makes up for in resilience, happiness, and love. She doesn’t spend a single moment feeling sorry for herself, and neither should you. Clara Bow is living proof that joy isn’t about what you can see or hear. It’s about feeling safe, loved, and free to be yourself. All Dallas Pets Alive adoptable pets are spayed or neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines upon adoption. The standard minimum donation for dogs over six months to seven years is $200, puppies under six months is $250, dogs eight years and over are $100 unless specified otherwise. Story
Looking responsible and experienced home for my dog Melo where he can receive the patience, structure, and understanding he needs. He is a loving and affectionate dog with a sweet personality, but he does have some behavioral challenges that require an owner who is prepared to work with him. He is mostly house-trained but may have occasional accidents, especially on beds, as he was not trained to stay off furniture. He experiences separation anxiety and can become very protective of his home and unfamiliar people entering the house. He has a history of a bite incident and may react defensively when scared, uncomfortable, or during stressful situations such as bathing. He does best in a home without young children, as he can feel intimidated by them. He does well at dog parks but may react when seeing unfamiliar dogs loose on walks. Despite his challenges, he is a sweet dog who deserves a home that understands his needs and can provide him with the guidance and care he needs.

Story
Sweet Abby is sugar, spice, and everything nice. A perfect recipe of pure preciousness, she is a 5 year (DOB 3/30/2021-exact) orange and white female spayed purebred Brittany. Abby is up to date on all vaccines and a bonafide lovebug. Even though Abby needs a little weight loss, 65 lbs. is not her ideal weight, she is still remarkably close to perfection. Other than some excess weight, Abby is healthy. Abby is calm, eager to please, and extremely affectionate. She had been with her owners since she was a puppy, but unfortunately, one of the owners was having health issues and it was discovered she was allergic to dogs. Abby is housetrained, crate trained and has great house manners. She is very laid back and friendly to adults, as well as children. Abby loves to take rides in the car and will be your best friend. She is not extremely active and has a submissive personality. She is good with both dogs and cats. Because Abby is extremely food motivated, she will need help on her weight loss journey. According to Abby’s foster dad, she is a perfect candidate for an invisible fence. She pulls a little when walking on a leash, but nothing extreme. She enjoys walks with her foster dad and foster fur sibling multiple times a week. As a matter of fact, she has lost some weight over the brief time she has been at her foster home. With food portion management and regular exercise, Abby will be at an ideal weight in no time. Are you looking for a wonderful adult Brittany to join your family? Abby is your gal! Abby’s adoption fee is $350, and she is being fostered in middle north Tennessee. Just a reminder that NBRAN will transport adopted dogs to their approved homes up to 1400 miles, with the adopter being responsible for the last approximately 100 miles. If you are interested in adopting Abby, please contact Suzanne Horsley ztasuzanne@gmail.com  OR Debbie Tuthill agilitybrits@gmail.comJuly 23, 2026, 8:32 am

Story
Hi there… I’m Gabby Sue  Please help me find my forever home.... I need my forever. A 55 lb spayed liver/white/roan Brittany/GSP/Mix girl with a whole lot of love to give I’m what you’d call the perfect mix of playful and cuddly. I’ll have my little bursts of energy (because, well… zoomies are important ), and then I’m right back by your side, ready to snuggle up and be your couch buddy. Honestly… I’d be perfectly happy being your full-time cuddle companion. I really love my people… like, “I’d rather be right under you than pose for pictures” kind of love Because I love so big, I’d do best as your one and only pup—so I can soak up all the attention and give it right back to you tenfold. I’ll also need a physical fenced yard so I can safely enjoy my outdoor time and little bursts of fun. My story almost didn’t have a happy ending… I was scheduled for euthanasia, my babies were taken away, and I was so scared and crying But kind people stepped in just in time—and now I’m safe, loved, and ready for my real forever home. I’m healthy, heartworm & tick negative, and on prevention—just waiting for someone to choose me. All I want is a home full of love… and someone to call mine The adoption fee for OK/Gabby Sue,  who lives in Tulsa, OK  is $325, (which helps to offset our vetting and allows NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members.  If you are interested in making OK/Gabby Sue part of your family, please complete the online application by visiting www.nbran.org .  Please let your state coordinator know so we can get the ball rolling.  Also, please email the state coordinator of OK/Gabby Sue-Melinde Waddle @ macgammy@gmail.com  Once approved by your state coordinator, I will be able to talk to you on Gabby Sue.   Transportation can be arranged up  to 1400 miles with the adopter being responsible for at least the last 100 miles.  July 23, 2026, 8:32 am

Story
Meet Your New Best Friend! Jayce is a 3-year-old Brittnay Mix who is looking for his forever home. While he might be a little shy when you first meet him, give him a moment to come out of his shell, and you'll find a funny, bouncy, and deeply loving companion. Jayce is a "paws-on" kind of dog! He is famous for his hugs and will spend his time trying to wrap his paws around you if he isn't already trying to curl up in your lap. He is the perfect blend of a lounge partner and a playmate. Because of his cautious temperament, Jayce has some specific needs to help him feel safe and successful: No Other Dogs: He prefers being the "only child" and can be reactive toward strange dogs. Quiet Environment: He would not enjoy the high-stress environment of a dog park. Patient Humans: He needs an owner who understands he needs to approach new things at his own pace. No Strangers (at first): He can be vocal with people he doesn't know, but his loyalty to his inner circle is unmatched. If you have the patience to let him blossom, you will be rewarded with a level of love and loyalty that only a dog like Jayce can give. He is ready to be your most devoted friend. Jayce's adoption fee is $325 to offset the cost of vetting and help other rescues in need. He is currently located in Georgia and can be transported up to 1400 miles via our Canine Railroad.
