Story
Coco is an older Cocker Spaniel that was unfortunately "dumped" on our rural property outside San Antonio approximately 5 years ago. We took him in and he has been a member of our family ever since. In March my wife, who has worked remotely for Health and Human Services, received an email from our current government administration directing her to return to her original office in Rockville, Maryland by the end of April or lose her job. With only a couple of years to full retirement our family has had to relocate. Unfortunately, we can not afford to take Coco with us and now are trying to rehome him. Please consider helping if you can. Thank you

Story
Meet sweet guy Ian! This handsome 3-year-old Cocker Spaniel mix was transferred to us at the beginning of May from another local facility. When Ian arrived, we noticed that he had a broken back leg, which required an amputation to give him the best quality of life. After some time in our medical building to recover with laser therapy and lots of cuddles, Ian is ready to find his forever home! He is a super cuddly dog who loves to go on leisurely walks to explore the outdoors. Ian is heartworm positive, but don’t let that discourage you from adopting him! The cost of his treatment is included along with his adoption at participating VCA Animal Hospitals. Ian is hoping to find a loving forever family to call his own, so spend some time with him and see if he could be the perfect fit for you!

Story
Meet Redmond and Ryan! These adorable brothers are a unique mix of cocker spaniel and (most likely) chihuahua, and they’ve inherited the best traits from both sides! At about 5 months old, they were found wandering with their mom, Farrah, and are now settling into life in a loving foster home.Redmond is the bigger brother at around 13 pounds, while little Ryan is just 5.5 pounds—but don’t let his size fool you, he’s full of spunk! Both boys have short coats and sweet spaniel features, and they’re playful, affectionate, and have wonderful temperaments. They’re already thriving in foster care and can’t wait to find forever families of their own. Whether you’re looking for a pint-sized snuggle bug or a slightly larger sidekick, one of these boys might be your perfect match!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Story
Meet Ryan!Ryan is a one-of-a-kind pup with a cocker spaniel mama and (likely) a chihuahua dad—talk about a dynamic duo! At about 5 months old and just 5.5 pounds, this tiny guy was found wandering with his mom and brother, and he’s now learning what love and comfort feel like in his foster home.Don’t let his size fool you—Ryan is full of personality! He’s got the playful energy of a puppy, the affectionate nature of a lap dog, and the determination of a one-dog pest control service. That’s right—Ryan is an exterminator. Spiders, flies, cockroaches, June bugs—none of them stand a chance when he’s on duty. He spots it, he chases it, he wins. With his adorable spaniel features, short coat, and easygoing temperament, Ryan is the perfect mix of cute and courageous. He’s thriving in foster care and would love to find a forever home where he can play, snuggle, and continue his crusade against creepy crawlies.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats.
