Story
Kenya is a lovely Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/Poodle mix with a gentle heart and a quiet curiosity about the world around her. She came to us from a puppy mill, so everything is still very new—but even in this early stage, she’s already beginning to show glimpses of the sweet dog she’s meant to be. Kenya can be timid at first, taking her time to observe and understand her surroundings. But behind that cautious exterior is a curious little soul who wants to explore and connect. As she grows more comfortable, she’s started to show her affectionate side, enjoying soft attention, staying close to the people she trusts, and curious about other dogs. We’re learning more about her every day—but what we do know is that Kenya has a lot of love to give. With time, kindness, and encouragement, Kenya will continue to come out of her shell and blossom into a devoted companion. All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough.
