Story
What a sweet and playful boy Trouble is! A 10-month-old, 37 pound Collie/Shetland Sheepdog (Sheltie), he presently weighs 27 pounds and will mature to about 45. A pup with higher energy and a goofy personality, he's no couch potato, so he's not going to enjoy watching TV with you on the sofa! He loves toys and affection! What a sweet boy! (posted 12/27/25, ME) Adoption Fee: $395.00-- covers microchip, worming, all vaccines, monthly heart worm preventative, monthly tick/flea preventative, spaying/neutering, health certificate, and complete medical records. Transport Fee: $160.00-- We consider the transport to be of great importance and, as such, take particular care of the dogs during the trip. We make every effort to arrive with healthy and minimally stressed dogs. **It is rare that we know with certainty the ages or mixes that make up our dogs, but we do our best to be as accurate as possible based upon our experience. **December 27, 2025, 10:58 am

Story
Sweetie Pie showed up at my house in August 2025. She was severely emaciated and had dozens of ticks in her ears and on her face. She was about 7 months old. Today she weighs in at a healthy 52 pounds. She has had all her shots, been chipped, DNA tested, and been spayed. She is a collie, german shepard, pit bull, staffy mix. She is a very loving affectionate dog, craves attention, is a profusive kisser, and fancies herself a couch potato lap dog. When she was recently boarded, she seemed to be OK with other dogs. She does not want to be left alone in a house or crate but willingly goes into a crate in my bedroom for the night. She also does not like to be crated in a car. She is house trained, but you must pay attention to her alerts. She is a high energy dog. Runs like the wind when doing zoomies in the large back yard. I do not have a fenced yard. She has not learned to walk well on a leash. I am 83 years old, she is too much for me to manage. I need to find a loving home for her.
