Story
Hello, I'm Copper! Me and my brother came into VOCAL when someone picked us up from where we were dumped on the side of the road. Although they were unable to keep us, they fostered us during our quarantine period, so we do at least have some house experience! We are house trained and crate trained, got along with their other dogs. and do well with children. Despite that, we still are only 6 months and will need basic training and socialization! They did say that we are a bunch of scaredy-cats when it comes to bath time... But other than that, we are just playful, sweet puppies ready to meet you!

These pups are in Gainesville, Florida too!

Story
I am a handsome, goofy guy who is potty trained, crate trained, social with large dogs and strangers, and used to living in a home setting. I have my basic manners down pat, ride nicely in a car, and will be most successful in a home without cats or access to free roaming chickens. Ask to see me today!

Story
Stewie is a younger pup yet has the seeming wisdom of an older dog. He is housetrained, gets along with other dogs, cats, and loves meeting new people. He learns new commands pretty quickly, especially if treats are involved. There may be a bit of a delay when performing his commands because he does have some medical issues. He has vision impairment and will require surgery on his rear legs. Staff can go over that in detail with you if you`d like to know more.

Story
Ru was brought into our local Humane Society during COVID after being abandoned by her owner at a homeless camp when she was about 1.5 years old. We have spent the last 6 years together moving to multiple different states and apartments/houses and she has been my best friend through it all. For a majority of that time, it has been just her and I so she is fiercely loyal and protective. She's definitely a velcro dog. She thrives with activity and attention. As a cattle dog, she loves to run, herd and have a task. She also loves to cuddle and chill out on the couch. We are having a baby very soon and unfortunately, all of our measures don't seem to be working for her. We are worried that she won't be able to control herself around a new baby in the house who is getting most of my attention. I would love to find a caring family for her who can her the attention she deserves and the space she needs. I feel she would be great with older kids, just not infants.
