Story
So I rescued Covid from his original owner who was abusive towards him. He's very protective of his people and does good with kids. He gets along with other dogs after getting to know them a bit but would be best on his own. Hates rabbits. Loves having a ball thrown for him but good luck getting it back lol. He's overall a good dog but he'll need somewhere he can run and someone with the time and patience to work with him. He's standoffish at first but quickly will wait tail wagging to be petted and played with. Loves belly rubs!! He will be an amazing pet for the right person. Unfortunately I'm having to move and need to find a home quickly as I can't bring him with me where me and my daughter are going. We love him a great deal so I'm hoping to find him a great home. The only shelters that will take him would put him down and he deserves so much better than that.

This sweet boy has a kind soul and a loyal nature that shines through in every interaction. He enjoys going for walks, taking in the sunshine, and spending time with the people he loves. All Sebastian wants is a second chance at the happy life he deserves—a home where he can be loved, cherished, and part of a family. With his beautiful looks and devoted personality, he's sure to make an incredible companion and a loyal best friend for years to come. He's available for foster or adoption at the Animal Protective League, located at 1001 Taintor Road in Springfield. We are open every day from noon to 5 p.m.
