Story
We adopted him from Once Upon a Prayer Rescue in O'Fallon, IL. He is 4 years old. He is a very anxious dog and has a hard time just sitting next to us, but when he does it is so heartwarming. We did anxiety medicine for a bit to see if we noticed a change and we did, but we couldn't afford it anymore. If you have a front window, then he is constantly looking out it. He will bark at anyone who is walking in front of the house. You will always know when someone is here. LOL. He is an attention seeking dog. Loves to go on walks but doesn't like to be outside by himself in the backyard. If he gets out of the backyard, he will go to the front door and scratch at it because he can't stand to be away from you. Don't leave food out on counters or else he will jump up and snag it. He went to obedience school. He is a big dog but thinks he is a little dog which can be an issue with kids and cats.

All Sebastian wants is a second chance at the happy life he deserves—a home where he can be loved, cherished, and part of a family. With his beautiful looks and devoted personality, he's sure to make an incredible companion and a loyal best friend for years to come. He's available for foster or adoption at the Animal Protective League, located at 1001 Taintor Road in Springfield. We are open every day from noon to 5 p.m.
