Story
Meet Montoya! He is so ready for his future to take off. After being found in the cornfield malnourished and ridden with fleas causing skin issues. Fast forward to now and he is happy, healthy, and extraordinarily super smart. Already potty training so well, he knows basic commands, and is learning more. He is so smart it blows our minds how easy learning comes to him. He is also crate-trained. Cat, dog, big and small and people friendly. Monty will need experienced adopters willing to continue his training as he grows into an amazing pupper. Adopters with a history of raising a puppy are preferred but not a must. No, we cannot adopt the boys out together. They have been very exposed to so many children of all ages as well. They even had weekend pup dates and did fabulously awesome with 0 accidents in the home. Montoya is house and crate trained pretty well, up to date on all appropriate core vaccines including lepto, rabies, dewormed, fecal tested negative, micro-chipped, neutered, and on monthly heart-worm flea/tick prevention. Updated: 2/1/2023 www.animalhousesanctuary.org We believe training is an ongoing process that needs to be worked on daily. New issues that arise, need to be addressed and/or rewarded. Understanding that continued training is a lifetime commitment, is very important. Out-of-state adopters are welcome at the adopter's expense. Meet & Greets are a required before proceeding with an adoption. We DO NOT ship any of our pets.

Here's Pickles. **Meet Pickles!** 🐾 If we had to sum Pickles up in one word, it would be *spunky*! This high-energy little guy is always ready to play, run, and explore until he finally crashes into a well-earned nap. Pickles brings joy and enthusiasm to everything he does — whether it’s chasing a toy or bouncing around the yard. He’s doing great with his kennel training and is picking up basic commands quickly — this pup is smart and eager to learn! While Pickles can be a little shy at first when meeting new people or animals, don’t let that fool you. Once he warms up, he’ll be your loyal shadow, happily following you wherever you go. Pickles is looking for a patient, loving home that can match his energy and give him the time he needs to build trust. In return, you’ll get a devoted best friend with a playful heart and a whole lot of personality. Are you ready for a spunky sidekick? Pickles is waiting to meet you! 💙🐾

Story
Cider is a Courtesy Listing and is not housed at the Animal Shelter. Please note that the City of Bloomington Animal Care & Control accepts no responsibility for this pet. Potential adopters are responsible for communicating directly with the pet's guardian. Cider is a handsome, approximately 2-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix weighing about 50 pounds. He is looking for a loving new home through no fault of his own. His elderly owners are no longer able to safely care for him, and we want to find him a family that can give him the exercise, structure, and companionship he deserves. Cider is neutered, house trained, and crate trained. He rides well in the car and settles comfortably in his crate. Like many Australian Cattle Dogs, he is intelligent, loyal, and devoted to his people. He can be cautious with new people at first, but once he gets to know you, he is affectionate, playful, and forms strong bonds. He has not had formal obedience training, so his new family should be prepared to continue his training with patience and consistency. Because he is young, smart, and eager to learn, he has great potential in the right home. Due to his strength and protective nature, he is not a good fit for an elderly owner. Cider appears to do well with other dogs and is believed to do well with respectful children with proper introductions. He would thrive with an active person or family who understands herding breeds and can provide regular exercise, mental stimulation, and continued training. This sweet young dog deserves a home where he can be part of the family and enjoy the active life he was bred for. If you think Cider might be the right fit for your home, please reach out. We'd be happy to answer any questions and tell you more about him. If you are interested in Cider, please text: 765-753- 9900 or email: melissa.bagga@gmail.com. ***PLEASE CONTACT OWNER DIRECTLY***
