Story
Meet Montoya! He is so ready for his future to take off. After being found in the cornfield malnourished and ridden with fleas causing skin issues. Fast forward to now and he is happy, healthy, and extraordinarily super smart. Already potty training so well, he knows basic commands, and is learning more. He is so smart it blows our minds how easy learning comes to him. He is also crate-trained. Cat, dog, big and small and people friendly. Monty will need experienced adopters willing to continue his training as he grows into an amazing pupper. Adopters with a history of raising a puppy are preferred but not a must. No, we cannot adopt the boys out together. They have been very exposed to so many children of all ages as well. They even had weekend pup dates and did fabulously awesome with 0 accidents in the home. Montoya is house and crate trained pretty well, up to date on all appropriate core vaccines including lepto, rabies, dewormed, fecal tested negative, micro-chipped, neutered, and on monthly heart-worm flea/tick prevention. Updated: 2/1/2023 www.animalhousesanctuary.org We believe training is an ongoing process that needs to be worked on daily. New issues that arise, need to be addressed and/or rewarded. Understanding that continued training is a lifetime commitment, is very important. Out-of-state adopters are welcome at the adopter's expense. Meet & Greets are a required before proceeding with an adoption. We DO NOT ship any of our pets.

Story
Hello my name is Lassie. I am 2 years old. I enjoy going for walks, getting treats and playing with toys. I walk really good on a leash so if you like to go for walks or jogs I am your boy. I love to get my belly rubbed and give kisses. I know the command sit. The staff here is always telling me what a pretty boy I am and that they hope my special someone will come in to adopt me soon

Hi! I'm lovely boy Skywalker!Oh man, I have a fan crowd at the shelter! I'm so loved because I'm so sweet and snuggly and love to crawl in your lap! I need all the cuddles! Also, have you seen my freckles?!I'm awesome at walking and enjoy being active outside, but I'm also fine just hanging out while you work or watching movies! I can be a little shy but once I know you, I'm all tail wags. I'm still young so I will likely have energy for a few more years, so I need a home that is ready to keep my mind and body occupied! Let's grow together!I've done well with other dogs at the shelter. We always recommend a slow intro in the home, keeping food and toys separate until all animals are comfortable. No kitties for me though!I've been struggling at the shelter so I'm ready to bust outta here today! Come in and toss me some treats! I'm ready to make you my best friend.Xoxo, Skywalker

Story
Like the day meets the night, so too do I hope to meet my next family!! I'm a little lady who is going to want to stay busy and I would love to have a job or do chores. I will make a great companion for someone who wants a super active pup who will need physical and mental stimulation. I'm not gonna be the best fit for someone looking for a couch potato companion and I will want lots of space to run. I might be a fair amount of work, but if you invest your time and energy into me, it will pay in dividends and I will love you forever. I will love you from sunrise to sunset, and all the time in between!
