Story
Meet Montoya! He is so ready for his future to take off. After being found in the cornfield malnourished and ridden with fleas causing skin issues. Fast forward to now and he is happy, healthy, and extraordinarily super smart. Already potty training so well, he knows basic commands, and is learning more. He is so smart it blows our minds how easy learning comes to him. He is also crate-trained. Cat, dog, big and small and people friendly. Monty will need experienced adopters willing to continue his training as he grows into an amazing pupper. Adopters with a history of raising a puppy are preferred but not a must. No, we cannot adopt the boys out together. They have been very exposed to so many children of all ages as well. They even had weekend pup dates and did fabulously awesome with 0 accidents in the home. Montoya is house and crate trained pretty well, up to date on all appropriate core vaccines including lepto, rabies, dewormed, fecal tested negative, micro-chipped, neutered, and on monthly heart-worm flea/tick prevention. Updated: 2/1/2023 www.animalhousesanctuary.org We believe training is an ongoing process that needs to be worked on daily. New issues that arise, need to be addressed and/or rewarded. Understanding that continued training is a lifetime commitment, is very important. Out-of-state adopters are welcome at the adopter's expense. Meet & Greets are a required before proceeding with an adoption. We DO NOT ship any of our pets.

Story
One day when I was letting my two dogs out this little guy just showed up at my back door. He was immediately friendly and playful with my dogs, it was cold out and raining so I took him in and started looking for him owners. With no success there we tried re-homing him with a no kill shelter but again so success. That’s when we turned here to find him a loving home! He is a silly playful dog that is incredible at fetch. His main issue is his prey drive, small animals such as cats or rabbits, which is our issue as we have two cats. He is a lovely dog outside of this fact and would make a great companion to someone!

Our dogs had puppies and we tried to keep Sen and his brother but it's too much and I had to get a second job and haven't been able to spend time with them. We did try rehoming him with his brother but they returned them after a week saying they were too much for them. He's very affectionate but has a lot of energy.

Our dogs had puppies and we had thought we'd be able to get our yard fenced in so we tried to keep Tai and his brother but aren't able to. He's affectionate and high energy, we tried to adopt him out with his brother once but they returned them after a week saying they were too much.
