Meet Montoya! He is so ready for his future to take off. After being found in the cornfield malnourished and ridden with fleas causing skin issues. Fast forward to now and he is happy, healthy, and extraordinarily super smart. Already potty training so well, he knows basic commands, and is learning more. He is so smart it blows our minds how easy learning comes to him. He is also crate-trained. Cat, dog, big and small and people friendly. Monty will need experienced adopters willing to continue his training as he grows into an amazing pupper. Adopters with a history of raising a puppy are preferred but not a must. No, we cannot adopt the boys out together. They have been very exposed to so many children of all ages as well. They even had weekend pup dates and did fabulously awesome with 0 accidents in the home. Montoya is house and crate trained pretty well, up to date on all appropriate core vaccines including lepto, rabies, dewormed, fecal tested negative, micro-chipped, neutered, and on monthly heart-worm flea/tick prevention. Updated: 2/1/2023 www.animalhousesanctuary.org We believe training is an ongoing process that needs to be worked on daily. New issues that arise, need to be addressed and/or rewarded. Understanding that continued training is a lifetime commitment, is very important. Out-of-state adopters are welcome at the adopter's expense. Meet & Greets are a required before proceeding with an adoption. We DO NOT ship any of our pets.

This is Miss Zuzu. I got her two weeks ago from the Indianapolis animal shelter a major change happen in my life, and I am unable to take care of two dogs due to my work and scheduling. My parents have been nice enough to be able to take my dog, but are unable to take Zuzu due to her being afraid of bigger dogs and unsure of others. She gets along well with my dog, they are best friends. She’s a very smart dog responds well to verbal commands and corrections. She will poop and pee outside if taken out regularly, she does still have puppy pees if she gets excited or frightened, she might tinkle a little bit. She needs a home that will continue her puppy training and give her plenty of exercise because she does not wear out.
