***The first step in the adoption process is to complete the adoption application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org*** At just over a year and 65 pounds, young Rainey is a stunning collie mix looking for a home that can continue to work with his training and cultivate a bond with this playful silly pup!  Rainey was originally found abandoned in the countryside emaciated and dehydrated.  After some tender loving care he filled out and started to grow.  Rainey seems to think everyone is his friend and would well in a home with another fun loving dog to play with and burn some energy with.  Rainey is pretty terrified of car rides so he's not looking for a home where he is going to be expected to travel on a regular basis.  Rainey has been on some leash walks but he could use additional training.  He would love a fenced back yard where he could watch the comings and goings of the neighborhood or better yet race and chase with a friend!  Rainy does pretty good with his potty training and will let you know when he needs to go outside. Rainy is neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped.  His adoption fee is $300.00 October 18, 2025, 11:16 pm

Percy is a handsome 2-year-old Collie/Shepherd mix with energy to spare and a big heart to match. He LOVES to chase a ball and could play fetch all day if you let him! When it’s time to wind down, he’s happy to settle with a hard toy or bone to chew on, and nothing makes him happier than a good belly rub. With his smarts and drive, Percy has the potential to thrive as a working or sporting dog if given the right training. He enjoys the company of other dogs, though his playful, high-energy style can be a lot for calmer pups—so a well-matched playmate would be ideal if there’s another dog in the home. Percy is looking for an active family who can keep up with his zest for life. If you’re ready for a loyal, energetic companion, Percy might just be your perfect match!
