Meet Asia!Asia is a 9-month-old, 32-pound, sweetheart who still has some growing left to do. We believe that she could get to be around 40-45 pounds fully grown. She’s gentle, shy, and looking for a calm home that understands timid pups. Asia truly needs another confident dog in the home, so that will be required. With another dog, she relaxes, follows their lead, and feels much braver with a canine friend by her side. She has not had the opportunity to meet with a lot of families since coming from Oklahoma, so proper introductions with family will be needed to make sure she is the right fit.If you have a soft spot for sweet, sensitive dogs who just need a little time and reassurance, Asia might be the girl. Please fill out an adoption application if you are open to considering adopting Asia!

Monty is a great name for a great dog like me ;) I have the Monty Python kind of humor... goofy and sweet! But, don't mess with my crate! That really is my only "pet: peeve!! I was found on the streets 2 years ago and was adopted as a pup... however, I became the boss in the house and didn't like anyone entering the house that I didn't know :( SO..... Back to the rescue, because they won't give up on me!! So here I am and I have really adjusted to the environment and new people meeting me and treats and lots of love. AND the crew here basically has determined that I need a family/adopters that will be in charge of the house. Someone I can trust to protect me so I don't have to!! I am vocal in my crate, so my crate needs to be away from the common areas so I can relax and not meet everyone that stops by. Once I settle into my new home I will follow your lead! I am a gorgeous boy, with caramel and milk chocolate highlights in my soft fur. I want to please my family and go on all kinds of adventures! I am awesome out and about, meeting new people and new friends :D I hope you will look into my eyes, the windows to my soul, and see the HOPE I have to find my own home again! The rescue is great because I got a second chance, but I REALLY want a home!! Local adoption only $200 (in TX)
