Story
Percy is a handsome 2-year-old Collie/Shepherd mix with energy to spare and a big heart to match. He LOVES to chase a ball and could play fetch all day if you let him! When it’s time to wind down, he’s happy to settle with a hard toy or bone to chew on, and nothing makes him happier than a good belly rub. With his smarts and drive, Percy has the potential to thrive as a working or sporting dog if given the right training. He enjoys the company of other dogs, though his playful, high-energy style can be a lot for calmer pups—so a well-matched playmate would be ideal if there’s another dog in the home. Percy is looking for an active family who can keep up with his zest for life. If you’re ready for a loyal, energetic companion, Percy might just be your perfect match!

Story
My name is Heppa and I am a black & white border collie/mix. I am a spayed female and I am 1 year old. I am here because my owner had too many dogs on their property. I was a mom to five puppies. I was surrendered with all my puppies. I`m so sad, because everyone adopted my puppies and left me behind. A few people even considered adopting me, but once they met my babies, they chose them over me. Now that my babies have been adopted, I`m READY to go to my forever home!I am potty trained (yay) and I can handle being left in a crate when my owner needs to leave me. I am a medium energy dog and I can live with an owner with no prior pet owning experience. I have learned `sit` and do well with basic hand gestures (pointing down to tell me to get down from something, patting your knee to get me to come over) but I would still benefit from simple obedience training to help us bond and for us to learn how to communicate with each other. I do not do well with children, they are scary to me! I can be good with other dogs with a proper introduction, and I cannot live with cats - I think they are something to chase!

Story
Do you like cuddling? Going for solitary household walks in nature? Being active for about twenty minutes of robust playtime around 4:00 in the afternoon? Summer is a calm snoozy dog throughout the day. If you work from home, she’ll most likely choose to sleep nearby. She loves a walk and sniff, and a good romp and play for a little each day. She’ll chase a stuffed toy, attempt to catch a snowball, and do excited zoomies in the yard if you give a toy a toss. But her real love is a good cuddle, so set yourself up with a blanket on your lap with a spot just for her and she’ll curl right in like a muffin, and give you reproachful looks when you dare to stop the pets. Summer needs an adults only, no other tankless pets home. She is dog reactive, and reactive with strangers in her home. Her current home has a 1 year old ever increasingly mobile baby, it is no longer a safe place for either of them. Contact us for more info. (715-817-6896) We want the best for her.
