Remy is beautiful and loves to be spoiled with ear rubs, butt scratches, and treats. She has been living with an older woman for ten years and prefers a mellow environment. She gets anxious about changes, crowds, and riding in the car. She would be best matched as a companion for a single person. She is a bit lame, especially after laying around for awhile. She gets a winter undercoat so when she sheds it, it's a lot!

Please see HSBC website to adopt. -Hover "Adopt". Click "Dog". -Scroll to "How to Adopt" - Click "Dog Application". Dakota's background is unknown. She takes a minute to warm up. She is shy and skittish around anything new but once she knows her family, she is all in. Most likely, she was kept outside or tied up. She is learning what furniture and toys are in her foster and is acclimating to her new surroundings and the human children in her foster home very well. Her foster mom says that she is such a wonderful girl. Dakota needs a home where someone will give her the time she needs to warm up and not be scared anymore.  Older, well-behaved children are okay. We do not know how she is with cats. She has done well with dogs but can be selective with her space when it comes to dogs. Meets with other dogs are required.  She is chocolate brown with white and weighs about 43lbs. December 22, 2025, 11:40 am
