Story
Meet Marco 🐠🧡 My adoption fee has been SPONSORED!! 🧡Marco here is believed to be a Border Collie / Jack Russell Terrier mix, but really, it’s hard to tell just what all breeds make up this unique looking fella. This lad is about 3 years old, but he seems to have an old man spirit. He will run around and play, but he does so in short bursts and doesn’t seem as energetic as you’d expect. He’s more of a low-key guy that doesn’t demand much from you, he just likes being your little background character that enjoys to watch and see what all is going on. We don’t know too much about this fella as he’s still pretty new here. We aren’t too sure how he does around other animals at this time. He seems mostly indifferent towards other dogs. In terms of people? He loves to spend time with you and get affection, on his own time. He mostly tends to keep to himself and is a very independent little fella. He takes a little time to warm up to new people and situations, but it doesn’t take him too long. With a little love and patience (and probably some food as bribery) Marco would make a perfect family companion. 🐾

Story
Ready to add a little chaos, a lot of laughter, and 32 pounds of wiggles to your life? Meet Clover! Before we go any further, there’s something you should know about Clover: She  is exactly the kind of dog this foster program was made for. She’s an older puppy with a whole lot of enthusiasm, a very busy brain, and some manners that are still under construction. Now that we’ve gotten that out of the way, we’ll let Clover take it from here...Hi everyone! My name is Clover! I’m 8 months old, about 32 pounds, and the best guess is that I’m a Border Collie/Jack Russell mix. I’m pretty petite, and I probably won’t get much bigger. If you’re looking for a couch potato to binge Supernatural reruns with, you should probably keep scrolling. I am HIGH ENERGY! But if you’re looking for a running buddy, adventure partner, or partner in crime for your busy life? I’m your girl!I am ridiculously smart and, quite frankly, I will do just about anything for a single piece of kibble. That means I have a ton of potential for someone who wants to continue my training. I need both mental and physical exercise. I LOVE puzzle toys, and a fenced-in yard where I can stretch my legs and burn off some of my puppy energy would be amazing. I’m good with other dogs, HOWEVER... I have heard my foster mom use the word “annoying” when describing my play style. I’m not sure what that means. I personally think I’m delightful. If I have a dog sibling, they should be tolerant of my enthusiastic puppy antics. My foster brother is a 90-pound, temperamental Pit Bull who puts up with me and lets me know when I’ve crossed the line. I take his corrections well and move on with my day. What about cats? I haven’t been cat tested yet, so we don’t know what I think about feline roommates. What about kids? With my energy level, enthusiasm, and still-developing manners, a home with older children or teenagers would be the best fit for me. I’m a whole lot of Clover packed into 32 pounds!Important Clover Facts:I love mirrors. My foster mom has a floor-length mirror, and I spend a surprising amount of time admiring both my reflection and hers.I do full-body wiggles when I’m excited. I also smile. Since I’m excited approximately 97% of the time, you’ll see both frequently.I never forget a squirrel. If I saw one in a particular spot on a walk three weeks ago, you better believe I’m checking that spot again…Every. Single. Time.I LOVE caramel corn. I tried it once and have been chasing that caramel high ever since. I’m smart, energetic, food-motivated, and ready to learn. I need a person or family who understands that puppies don’t come preprogrammed with perfect manners and who is willing to give me the structure, activity, training, and patience I need. In return, you’ll get 32 pounds of wiggles, intelligence, ridiculousness, adventure, and love. So, What’s Next for Clover? This is where my story gets even more exciting! Starting October 16th, I’ll be spending 10 weeks participating in a training program while living at a correctional facility. It’s an opportunity for me to work on my manners, put this busy little brain to good use, and get some much-needed practice channeling all of my puppy enthusiasm. With my smarts, energy, and willingness to work for basically one piece of kibble, I’m ready to learn! My approved adopter will receive my weekly reports to follow my training journey! I will be able to come home with my new family on December 18th!My training journey won’t mean I’ll magically become a couch potato, though. I’ll still be Clover! I’ll need an active family who will continue working with me, keep my brain busy, give me plenty of opportunities to exercise, and appreciate all the wonderfully ridiculous things that make me who I am.Could Clover be your lucky charm? Submit your app today!I'm spayed UTD on all my shots, HW, and FT.  I have a microchip in case I get lost and will require a fenced in yard, either physical or underground to keep me safe. RPSM recommends homes with children 10 years and older. If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an application today by going to www.rpsm.org. My adoption fee is $300.##2849451##
