Here are some of his characteristics: Toy/Play Driven - he will play fetch until he physically can't anymore Loves to herd his brother in the backyard  Sucks on his blanket when calm  Loves visitors  Afraid/doesn't like little children - he has not had much time around kids, so we haven't had many good interactions  Picky eater - he gets bored of his food, so he gets a meal topper to get him to eat  Commands: Sit, stay, wait, lay down, good boy (release words), speak, whisper, go to bed, in (in cage) take it and can't reach it **RPSM DOES NOT HAVE THIS DOG. Remi Remi is a Female Border Collie mix DOB: February of 2024 Adoption fee: $100 I weigh around 45 pounds; I am full grown and will not get any bigger. I am a little timid when first meeting strangers. I have a very soft demeaner and as I become more comfortable with my caretakers, I get playful and silly over the littlest things. I am new to the shelter and have learned the routine well. I am very clean in my kennel. Not much information was given about my past. I do enjoy the outdoors and smelling every inch of the fenced in areas. To keep me safe, I will require a physically fenced in yard. I may match with another dog pending a meet and greet. I may enjoy children, but a busy household may overwhelm me. I will do my best with older children. I have met cats and tend to avoid them. I will not bother them if they do not bother me. I am a very nice girl who is still trying to figure out who I am. I just need a family to help me discover how wonderful life can be as part of their family.

Story
DiDi was born on June 25 2022. We adopted him when he was 8 weeks old. DiDi is our 2nd border collie after we lost our first one to a car accident after 8 months of owning him. DiDi means “little brother” in Chinese. Technically DiDi is the first dog that we got a chance to understand Border Collie as a breed. He is very smart and super energetic. He wants to play all the time. He is very friendly with strangers, likes to be petted, but he is not a companion. He doesn’t misbehave, doesn’t bark most of the time, never bites, but he is not a companion. We have tried to build a bond with him. But unfortunately we are not the right fit for his personality. The only time he would come to us is when he wants to play. As soon as he senses we are done playing, he would walk away and stay by himself. He has his own mind and determined. We don’t feel we are wanted by him except when he wants to play. He is a good dog, but we are not good enough for him.
