Story
Meet Marco 🐠Marco here is believed to be a Border Collie / Jack Russell Terrier mix, but really, it’s hard to tell just what all breeds make up this unique looking fella. This lad is about 3 years old, but he seems to have an old man spirit. He will run around and play, but he does so in short bursts and doesn’t seem as energetic as you’d expect. He’s more of a low-key guy that doesn’t demand much from you, he just likes being your little background character that enjoys to watch and see what all is going on. We don’t know too much about this fella as he’s still pretty new here. We aren’t too sure how he does around other animals at this time. He seems mostly indifferent towards other dogs. In terms of people? He loves to spend time with you and get affection, on his own time. He mostly tends to keep to himself and is a very independent little fella. He takes a little time to warm up to new people and situations, but it doesn’t take him too long. With a little love and patience (and probably some food as bribery) Marco would make a perfect family companion. 🐾

Story
Remi Remi is a Female Border Collie mix DOB: February of 2024 Adoption fee: $100 I weigh around 45 pounds; I am full grown and will not get any bigger. I am a little timid when first meeting strangers. I have a very soft demeaner and as I become more comfortable with my caretakers, I get playful and silly over the littlest things. I am new to the shelter and have learned the routine well. I am very clean in my kennel. Not much information was given about my past. I do enjoy the outdoors and smelling every inch of the fenced in areas. To keep me safe, I will require a physically fenced in yard. I may match with another dog pending a meet and greet. I may enjoy children, but a busy household may overwhelm me. I will do my best with older children. I have met cats and tend to avoid them. I will not bother them if they do not bother me. I am a very nice girl who is still trying to figure out who I am. I just need a family to help me discover how wonderful life can be as part of their family.

Story
Lily Mae is sweetness covered in fur. She is an 8 yr old dog who loves laying in the sunny spots around the house, walking the yard on her leash, keeping eyes on our property and scratches on the nose and ears.We fostered and adopted during COVID but life circumstances mean we need to re-home her.She takes a twice daily med for seizures; gladly does so before each meal. Follows all typical commands (sit, go to kennel, stay/wait) but also is trained to wait until “free” to eat or go out the door. She gets really excited when you say “outside” or “potty” and grab a leash. She loves to explore and sniff but walks really well on a leash and follows commands. She does okay with other animals (has been around cats, puppies and chickens), but isn’t a fan of aggressive/hyper male dogs - will avoid them. She sleeps in a kennel at night and loves her bed during the dayShe would thrive in a house who just wants a good dog to join them on walks and laying around in the sun.Rehoming fee is negotiable
