Tartan Trenton came to us from a kill shelter in Kentucky. This is a nice, friendly boy who is good with people & other dogs. He is very sweet, happy but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. He is smart & energetic! His approx. birth date is 09/09/22 and he currently weighs approx. 50#. We are guessing at his breed make up. He would make a lovely family pet for an active household. He was part of the prison program training at his shelter and sits and walks great on a leash. This guy is afraid of brushes and we are not sure why. He has been vet. checked, neutered, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, is heart worm negative and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. His adoption donation is $300 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. There is a 3% processing fee when using a debit/credit card. We do not ship or transport.Please email for an application if you would like to provide this nice kid with his forever home. ##1825504##

Rough Collie Rex came to us from an Indiana shelter after he was dumped with terrible skin. It's taken some time for his skin to clear and his hair to grow in. This is a nice boy who is good with other dogs & with people. He is very sweet but would benefit from some basic obedience and confidence building. His approx. birth date is 07/04/24 and he currently weighs 53#. We are guessing at his breed make up. He does know sit, down and shake and is a wonderful dog. He has been vet. checked, neutered, micro chipped, is up to date on routine shots & wormings including rabies, and has been treated with flea & heart worm preventative per our protocol. He is heart worm and tick born illness negative. His adoption donation is $450 and needs to be cash, certified check, money order or a debit/credit card. There is a 3% processing fee when using a debit/credit card. Please note that any additional funding collected for this pet goes back into our medical acct. to provide for other dogs in need. Meet Marco 🐠🧡 My adoption fee has been SPONSORED!! 🧡Marco here is believed to be a Border Collie / Jack Russell Terrier mix, but really, it’s hard to tell just what all breeds make up this unique looking fella. This lad is about 3 years old, but he seems to have an old man spirit. He will run around and play, but he does so in short bursts and doesn’t seem as energetic as you’d expect. He’s more of a low-key guy that doesn’t demand much from you, he just likes being your little background character that enjoys to watch and see what all is going on. We don’t know too much about this fella as he’s still pretty new here. We aren’t too sure how he does around other animals at this time. He seems mostly indifferent towards other dogs. In terms of people? He loves to spend time with you and get affection, on his own time. He mostly tends to keep to himself and is a very independent little fella. He takes a little time to warm up to new people and situations, but it doesn’t take him too long. With a little love and patience (and probably some food as bribery) Marco would make a perfect family companion. 🐾

First date experience. Callie is here to tell you her "bad" qualities so we can just those out of the way. Wouldn't it be nice if all first dates did that? 🤔 Dating is tough! Ok, her bad qualities: 1. She loves car rides but when you get to your destination she is getting out .. like now. So a seat belt for dogs is recommended. 2. She will not enter your bathroom. Like she is scared of it. How will you ever pee in peace without a dog following you? This is unheard of! 3. She is a people watcher? For example, when at TSC to meet her potential family she met them and then was looking at everyone else. At one point she just sat in the grass and watched as the world went by. She also loves other dogs so she wanted to meet them. I honestly think that's why her interested family didn't adopt her. She was in a new environment and was interested in looking at everything and didn't pay enough attention to this stranger she just met. 4. Pulls on leash so a harness is recommended. I know, I know .... Such horrible things 😜 Now on to her good qualities: ✅ Friendly with everyone! ✅ Potty trained ✅ Crate trained ✅ Good with dogs, cats and respectful kids ✅ Loves car rides ✅ Likes to sit with you and cuddle Foster mom said she is the easiest Foster! She is looking for that first date that turns into a lifetime! She is 11 years old (definitely doesn't act like it) and 27 pounds.
