Meet your next best friend Royal!  This adorable 50 pound boy is a 1.5 year old Shepherd/Collie Mix who is eager to please his people and just wants love and safety in return! How can you not fall in love with a boy with hairband markings LOL! Royal is a King of Cuddling and will be your shadow in life and happily go with you on daily adventures . He will give you the companionship you've always wanted. This amazing boy loves playing with his stuffies and is food and treat motivated.  He walks great on a leash and is potty and crate trained! Royal is a very smart boy has been around other dogs and does well but may need to be fed separately.  He is playful, so be sure to have plenty of toys!  Then once he's played out, Royal loves to lay on the couch for belly rubs and a snuggle session. He is still working on not jumping so older kids only please.  Don't miss out on this good boy, so apply today at www.havenanimalrescuenebraska.org!   DONATION ADOPTION FEE $350 PLEASE SUBMIT AN APPLICATION AT: https://havenanimalrescuenebraska.org/adoption-application We do not have a facility. All of our animals are in volunteer foster homes. Once an application is pre-approved (contingent upon a home check) we will contact applicants that are a good match and set up a time for a meet. At that time we are happy to answer all of your questions. No inquiries prior to that please. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, examined by a vet, up-to-date on vaccinations, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchipped. We adopt our animals as strictly inside companion pets. We will do a veterinarian reference check and a home safety check. We are located in Omaha, NE and we do not ship our animals. We are all volunteers so please be patient with us. Our requested adoption fees help go towards medical expenses, food, transportation, toys, and other supplies for our animals. Story
Mila is a beautiful, 10 1/2 yr old, tan & white cattle dog mix looking for her forever home. She had some bad luck with her last adoption from us.  We got a call from a shelter in Wisconsin that she was found tied to a pole. A wonderful volunteer from that shelter flew her to Iowa in his personal plane where one of our dedicated volunteers met him to pick her up and bring her back home.  She is playful and loves people of all kinds. Mila walks well on a leash, loves to play fetch and does a good job of keeping herself occupied. She's a sweet, fun girl and would love to live out the rest of her life with someone who loves her. Mila cannot be around other dogs so she needs to be the only pet in the home. Can you give Mila the life she so deserves.  For more information, email us at tchsPapillion@gmail.com or visit https://townandcountryhumanesociety.org/adopt The adoption fee is $200 and covers age appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter.  Applications are typically worked in time stamp order based on date/time of submission.  If you have other dogs in your home, they must all meet the potential adoptee.  It may save you a trip to bring them with you when you visit, if you are certain you want to adopt a new family member. *****We are currently operating by appointment only due to a shortage of personnel.   If you want to meet this pet, or are interested in adopting, please submit an inquiry or email to tchspapillion@gmail.com.  Someone from the rescue will contact you and/or your family and determine, on a broad level, whether you might be a fit for the animal.  If so, they will provide instructions for completing the application. Your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted to set up a time to meet at the shelter or the foster home.   The introduction between you and the pet will be supervised by one of the dog counselors or the foster.   If all goes well, you can adopt during the same visit. Please be sure to follow us on Facebook to learn more about Town and Country Humane Society and our mission. ##1586145##

Story
Danni is a, 3 yr 8 mth old Cattle Dog mix pup. She is very sweet and loves loves to play fetch. Danni has some resource guarding tendencies so should not go to a home with small kids and would like to be the only dog in the house. She knows how to sit and she is very sweet. She has anxiety issues that we have been working on and she is making progress !! Come on out and meet her. The adoption fee is $350 and covers age appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter. The adoption fee helps cover the cost of these vetting procedures. If you want to meet this pet, or are interested in adopting, please submit an application.   After you have submitted an application and have been approved, we will setup a “meet and greet” between you and the pet. Applications are reviewed in order of receipt.  If everything goes well during the meet and greet, you can take the puppy home the same day.   Please be sure to follow us on Facebook to learn more about Town and Country Animal Rescue and our mission. ##950059##
