He picks up on things quickly and would do best in an active home where he will get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. He needs a home with no younger children and should meet any kids in the home.Dave is a Diamond Dog and will be shown by appointments or walk ins as time permits. Diamond Dogs are dogs that are currently getting extra work and training from staff and volunteers through our behavior program. Story
Cassie is a sweet Collie/Border Collie mix, born in 2024.  She has a smooth coat and is on the smaller side for this breed mix.  Cassie is kid (all ages) and dog friendly!  She was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas and we need your help finding her forever home.  She has an extremely SWEET temperament!  She had a litter of 7 puppies mid June.   The suggested adoption donation for Cassie is $400, which includes a lifetime of free relationship-based training for any behavioral problems (not obedience training). Muddy Paws is a 501c3 non-profit organization meaning that part of your donation MAY be TAX DEDUCTIBLE. We are a 100% volunteer rescue committed to giving animals a second chance at life. All donations go toward that mission. Adoption fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. In 2022 alone, we provided animal Healthcare totaling over $399,000 covered mainly through adoption fees. Information about the adoption process: All adoptions require a completed ADOPTION APPLICATION. Once your application has completed our prescreen steps, we will put you in touch with the animal’s foster to see if you and the pet are a good match. If so, we will arrange a meeting for you and the animal. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver. Please Note: We are a RESCUE, which is different from a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks, and a Home Visit (Virtual in some cases) during the application approval process. We always select the right applicant for each animal, based on the animal’s needs. If you and the animal are not a good match, we will help you select another animal, or we will keep your approved application on file for 6 months. To learn about Muddy Paws Last Chance Rescue or donate to our animals, please visit our website at MuddyPawsSecondChanceRescue.com or our Facebook Page Muddy Paws Second Chance Rescue Inc.   Alter Agreement: If the dog or cat you adopt is older than 6 months of age and not spayed or neutered, you will receive a voucher to alter the pet at Val Verde Animal Hospital or Omaha Animal Medical Group in Omaha, at no cost to you. Or you can alter the pet at your own vet and be reimbursed $100 for dogs, and $50 for cats, of total cost. If the dog or cat is younger than 6 months of age, the adopter will be responsible for the cost of altering the pet at the vet of their choice. If proof of alter is received by Muddy Paws prior to the pet turning 6 months of age, a reimbursement of $100 for dogs, and $50 for cats, will be sent to you to help cover expenses. All puppies and kittens MUST be spayed or neutered by 6 months of age. All dogs and cats MUST be spayed or neutered no later than one month after adoption is finalized. ##2780478##

Story
It breaks our hearts to say this, but we’re searching for a new home for our sweet boy, Panda. Panda is an incredibly loving, energetic dog with a huge heart. He’s smart, eager to please, and quickly learns new things—he already knows commands like “lay down” and “shake.” He truly thrives on connection and attention from his people. He absolutely lights up during playtime, especially with his favorite skunk toy or any ball. Watching him run and play brings so much joy—he has a special way of brightening a home. This has been a very difficult decision, made out of love and a desire to do what’s best for him. We are also expecting, and won't have the proper time to train a young pup and raise a baby. Panda would do best as the only male dog in a home where he can receive all the time, attention, and affection he deserves. We’re hoping to find a person or family who will love him as much as we do. Please reach out if you think you could be the right home for Panda ❤️

Story
This is Dingo a very loyal and energetic dog. He was adopted from the Humane Society where he was brought in as a stray. He is about 2 and a half years old. He LOVES people! He is scared of other dogs we think from trauma as a stray but he is VERY friendly with his human friends, incredibly loyal and very smart. We are putting him up for adoption because he needs a loving family with a yard and fences to run around in for his energy. Due to some life changes we are unable to spend time with him on his anxieties and hope to find him a loving home in the area where he can live his best life and we would love to visit him sometimes.

Story
Cami is a 1½-year-old Australian Cattle Dog/Boxer mix with a heart as big as her smile and a personality that's impossible to forget! This happy girl is full of life, love, and fun. She has a big, goofy personality that lights up every room she enters and keeps everyone around her smiling. Cami loves meeting new people and making friends wherever she goes. Her cheerful spirit and affectionate nature make her a joy to be around. One of her favorite ways to show her excitement is with her adorable zoomies, whether she's greeting her favorite humans or celebrating playtime, her happy dances are guaranteed to make you laugh! Not only is Cami fun-loving and affectionate, but she's also potty trained, making her an easy addition to her future family. She enjoys adventures, playtime, and just as much loves settling in for cuddles and quality time with her people. Cami is looking for a family that will embrace her playful energy, appreciate her larger-than-life personality, and give her all the love she deserves. In return, she'll provide endless laughter, unwavering loyalty, and plenty of sweet snuggles. If you're searching for a companion who will bring joy, excitement, and lots of love into your home, Cami may be the perfect match for you! Come meet this wonderful girl and see if she's the missing piece of your family! The adoption fee is $350 and covers age appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter.  Applications are typically worked in time stamp order based on date/time of submission.  If you have other dogs in your home, they must all meet the potential adoptee.  It may save you a trip to bring them with you when you visit, if you are certain you want to adopt a new family member. *****We are currently operating by appointment only due to a shortage of personnel.   If you want to meet this pet, or are interested in adopting, please submit an inquiry or email to tchspapillion@gmail.com.  Someone from the rescue will contact you and/or your family and determine, on a broad level, whether you might be a fit for the animal.  If so, they will provide instructions for completing the application. Your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted to set up a time to meet at the shelter or the foster home.   The introduction between you and the pet will be supervised by one of the dog counselors or the foster.   If all goes well, you can adopt during the same visit. Please be sure to follow us on Facebook to learn more about Town and Country Humane Society and our mission. ##2782076##
