OUR SWEET CALIFORNIA SUNSHINE GIRL WHO IS SO WELL BEHAVED, LOVING, AND GENTLE WAS DUMPED AT A HIGH KILL SHELTER BY HER SENIOR OWNERS GRANDDAUGHTER. SUNNY SAT CALMLY BY HER SIDE AS THE FRONT DESK TYPED HER RELEASE INTO THE SHELTER SYSTEM. THE WOMAN HANDED OVER THE LEASH AND WALKED OUT THE DOOR. SUNNY WATCHED AS LIFE AS SHE KNEW IT WALKED OUT THE SAME DOOR. wE HAD TO PULL HER SINCE MOST DOGS WILL NEVER MAKE IT OUT. SUNNY IS A SHINING DIAMOND WHO IS GENLTLE, SMART, CALM AND BEHAVED. SHE WILL MAKE AN EXCEPTIONAL COMPANION DOG TO A LUCKY SOMEONE. SHE IS MICROCHIPPED, SPAYED, ALL HER SHOTS AND READY TO GO TO A HOME THAT WILL CHERISH AND LOVE HER. 💙 Meet Finn 💙 Finn is a Blue Heeler mix rescued on 11/18/25 from the Sunrise Golf Course. He is approximately 2 years old and 45 lbs. Like many Heelers, Finn is alert, thoughtful, and deeply loyal. He’s naturally aware of his surroundings and may be a bit nervous at first, but what he truly craves is direction, structure, and inclusion with his people. Finn has a calm overall demeanor, especially once he feels secure. He’s devoted to his person and wants nothing more than to be part of the action—whether that’s a walk, training time, or just hanging out nearby. A few things to know about Finn: • Can be vocal when he has something important to say 🗣️ • Gets along well with other dogs • Currently fostered with a Red Heeler and a small senior Chihuahua • Microchipped, vaccinated, and neutered • Enrolled in weekly training to build confidence and polish commands Finn is a smart, sensitive dog who will thrive with a family that understands the Heeler breed and enjoys engaging, working with, and guiding their dog. With consistency and love, Finn will be an incredibly loyal companion.

Bella belongs to an elderly relative that can no longer care for the dog or herself. We have her owner situated in a new home and are now trying to find a home for Bella. We have had her since May 1. We have five children ages 7-17 and she has been good with all of them. She doesn't bark unless she is playing. She is very sweet and loves people. She likes to lie down in the room where somebody else is. She doesn't seem to like to be by herself. She does currently stay home for sometimes 6-8 hours in the house alone and she has been great with that. She loves human food and will steal it when she can. We have enjoyed having her but my daughter gets hives when she licks her. We like dogs but have never wanted a dog in the house. My kids would love to keep her but we are too busy to give her the attention she deserves. It was easier to take care of her in the summer but now that school is back in, she would be better in another home.
