** PLEASE EMAIL questions, please DO NOT call. We are a volunteer based group and are unable to handle the call volume. WE WILL BE HOLDING ADOPTIONS ON SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS FROM 10-4 PM at our Adoption Center. Our adoption center is located next to CAL Ranch at 232 North Jones (I-95) Suite 170. NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY, BUT WE DO LIMIT THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE IN THE STORE. Zamara is almost 5 1/2 yrs old and weighs about 57 lbs. She was adopted from a shelter but surrendered as she was getting out of their yard (chainlink). She was reported that she was housebroken and dog door trained. (single or couple) She is a door dasher. More will be known about me soon. A Path 4 Paws holds adoption events at our Adoptions Store, located at 232 N. Jones Blvd, Suite 170 right next to CAL Ranch (North Jones/ I-95). Please bring your dog(s) for a meet and greet (if applicable) Please bring your entire family so everyone can meet. If you are interested in Zamara, please contact dogrescuelv@hotmail.com to confirm the dog you are interested in, will be attending that particular event. We have limited space at the store, therefore we can not take every dog out to the event. This pet is spayed/neutered, has current vaccinations and includes a microchip, deworming and 2 free vet visits, including a Healthy Start Certificate with the VCA Hospitals with a $250 health credit (restrictions apply). Story
Dan needs a very active family. He was saved from the county shelter but really needs a family that hikes, runs or walks daily to get his energy out. NO CATS for sure he is fixated on them but love his toys and will keep himself amused with them. Ducky is his favorite toy and has to be replaced several times. This boy loves to play fetch and never seems to tire out. Knows basic commands but does need to work on socialization with other dogs. He is not sure yet how to meet them correctly but with the right family to get him the exercise he needs we think Dan will be the best family member. Adoption fee is $150

Story
Boba is a vibrant, affectionate, and endlessly playful pup who brings joy wherever she goes. She’s full of energy and thrives in social settings — whether she’s with people or other dogs, she lights up. I’ve raised her since she was 3 weeks old, and she’s been my ride-or-die companion ever since. She doesn’t have a mean bone in her body, but she does get protective over her people, toys, and food. She is trained in basic commands/ crate trained, however, still needs patient, consistent humans who can give her structure, daily exercise, and lots of love. A home with another playful dog (negotiable) and a solid routine (required) would help her feel her best. Boba bonds deeply through play and purpose — once you earn her trust, she’ll give you her whole heart. Rehoming her has been a deeply emotional decision, so I’d appreciate occasional updates and reassurance that she’s safe and loved. She’s a truly special soul who deserves the world. ❤️ Please reach out with any questions.

Story
Ollie was adopted from us as a puppy but is back due to no fault of his own. He is a smart, loyal companion who loves to join on adventures; he's a pro hiker, camper and lake swimmer! Ollie's favorite toy is a ball - he never turns down a game of fetch! He likes to play with dogs in his size range and smaller, the bigger dogs intimidate him; he also prefers older kids as toddlers are scary for him too. Ollie is house trained, crate trained and knows his basic obedience. He is the ideal dog for someone who is looking for a trained companion. Ollie is turning 2 in July and weighs approximately 48 lbs. We have adoption appointments throughout the week! Turn in an adoption interest form at https://waggingtailsrescue.org/dog-adoption/ to learn more about this dog and schedule a meet and greet! Additionally, we have an adoption event every Saturday from 11-1pm at Petco (645 S Green Valley Parkway) where you can come and visit our adoptable dogs. We hope to hear from you soon! Please send in an application at www.waggingtailsrescue.org
