💙 Meet Finn 💙 Finn is a Blue Heeler mix rescued on 11/18/25 from the Sunrise Golf Course. He is approximately 2 years old and 45 lbs. Like many Heelers, Finn is alert, thoughtful, and deeply loyal. He’s naturally aware of his surroundings and may be a bit nervous at first, but what he truly craves is direction, structure, and inclusion with his people. Finn has a calm overall demeanor, especially once he feels secure. He’s devoted to his person and wants nothing more than to be part of the action—whether that’s a walk, training time, or just hanging out nearby. A few things to know about Finn: • Can be vocal when he has something important to say 🗣️ • Gets along well with other dogs • Currently fostered with a Red Heeler and a small senior Chihuahua • Microchipped, vaccinated, and neutered • Enrolled in weekly training to build confidence and polish commands Finn is a smart, sensitive dog who will thrive with a family that understands the Heeler breed and enjoys engaging, working with, and guiding their dog. With consistency and love, Finn will be an incredibly loyal companion.

Kahuku is a big, strong boy who started out timid but has blossomed into a confident, happy adventurer 🐾 After arriving at the shelter as a stray, he’s made incredible progress and now greets the world with excitement and curiosity. This quirky, gentle, playful cattle dog mix bonds deeply once he feels safe. He’s incredibly loving, smart, and eager to please — responding instantly to his name and knowing sit, shake, come, and down. He appears potty trained and always does his business outside (with an adorable back-feet shuffle after 😉). At 5 years old, he’s the perfect adventure buddy — energetic but past the puppy stage. He loves kids and is especially gentle with younger ones. While enthusiastic on leash (hello, zig-zag walks!), he can feel overwhelmed in large crowds and will look to his person for reassurance. Kahuku would thrive with an experienced, confident handler in a family-friendly, only-pet home. He has a strong prey drive and can be intimidated by loud or pushy dogs, so slow, gentle introductions are key. His pure love and devotion are his greatest strengths. Kahuku is playful, affectionate, smart, and truly the sweetest boy — just waiting for his forever home 💛🏡

Meet Zara 🐾 Zara is a 2-year-old cattle dog mix who came to us as a stray and was never reclaimed. She’s an active girl with a bright personality and a sweet, friendly nature that staff have quickly grown fond of. Zara is easy to leash and has an adorable little routine—she’ll bow her head while you leash her and happily prance right out of her kennel, ready for the next adventure. On walks she moves with excitement, but she’s also very thoughtful; if she gets ahead of you, she’ll pause and patiently wait for you to catch up instead of pulling you along. She has shown a calm and friendly demeanor around other dogs, and her gentle side shines through in the little things—like how she takes treats softly and politely. Like many cattle dog mixes, Zara has lots of energy, but it comes across in the sweetest way. She would thrive in a home that can provide activity, enrichment, and quality time to keep her happy and engaged 🐕💛
