** PLEASE EMAIL questions, please DO NOT call. We are a volunteer based group and are unable to handle the call volume. WE WILL BE HOLDING ADOPTIONS ON SATURDAYS & SUNDAYS FROM 10-4 PM at our Adoption Center. Our adoption center is located next to CAL Ranch at 232 North Jones (I-95) Suite 170. NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY, BUT WE DO LIMIT THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE IN THE STORE. Zamara is almost 5 1/2 yrs old and weighs about 57 lbs. She was adopted from a shelter but surrendered as she was getting out of their yard (chainlink). She was reported that she was housebroken and dog door trained. She was very protective of her home and people. This includes while she is on a walk. She needs a home where the household does not have alot of people coming/going from the home. (single or couple) She is a door dasher. More will be known about me soon. A Path 4 Paws holds adoption events at our Adoptions Store, located at 232 N. Jones Blvd, Suite 170 right next to CAL Ranch (North Jones/ I-95). Please bring your dog(s) for a meet and greet (if applicable) Please bring your entire family so everyone can meet. If you are interested in Zamara, please contact dogrescuelv@hotmail.com to confirm the dog you are interested in, will be attending that particular event. We have limited space at the store, therefore we can not take every dog out to the event. This pet is spayed/neutered, has current vaccinations and includes a microchip, deworming and 2 free vet visits, including a Healthy Start Certificate with the VCA Hospitals with a $250 health credit (restrictions apply). Adoption fee applies. Please make sure you have read the information listed on the homepage for requirements and restrictions. Foster homes & volunteers are always needed. Please contact us regarding how you can help by fostering or volunteering for our organization.

Story
Buddy now known as Waylon was adopted in 2018 when he was 2.5 years old and we thought he had found his forever home. Unfortunately Waylon now needs a new home due to a crisis in his family. This very sweet and gentle giant is over 100 lbs but would do great in any home that has room. This boy is great with all dogs, loves his best friend in the a home a kitty cat and is great with kids. He has no idea how big he is and thinks he is a lap dog. Even though is now 8-9 years young this guy has plenty of love to give the right family and has no healthy issues. Adoption fee is $150
