Story
Meet Pochita! Pochita is a sweet 1½-year-old male Pit/Collie mix weighing about 55 lbs, and he’s the perfect blend of affectionate companion and playful partner. This loyal boy loves to run, cuddle, and stay close to his people—he truly thrives on being part of the family. He is fully potty trained, neutered, up to date on all vaccines, and currently enrolled in training classes at PetSmart, where he’s showing just how smart and eager to learn he is. Pochita gets along well with other dogs and has lived with older children, making him a wonderful candidate for a loving home. Pochita would do best in a home with a yard or plenty of space where he can stretch his legs and burn off energy. He can settle nicely in a crate once he relaxes, though he does experience some separation anxiety and will benefit from a patient adopter willing to continue building his confidence. Healthy, loving, and full of heart, Pochita is truly ready to find his forever family. If you think he might be the perfect fit for your home, please visit our website to fill out an adoption application. Adoption fee and home check applies. 🐾

Story
💛 Meet Scootie (aka Roxie)! 💛 The Quiet, Clever Sweetheart Scootie has been with SNARL since June 2024 and is ready for a calm, patient home where she can truly feel safe and loved. She’s a thoughtful, food-motivated girl with a gentle heart and a cautious spirit. Scootie isn’t the type to chase every toy, but she has her own special charm—whether quietly stealing a sock, curling up in her crate for a peaceful nap, or giving a soft, trusting nuzzle once she bonds with you. Intelligent and eager to please, Scootie knows commands like “sit” and “leave it” even with distractions, and she walks well on leash. She can be shy with new people and may need careful introductions with other dogs, but she thrives in structured, patient environments. A little herder at heart, she sometimes “organizes” her foster siblings—but she’s quick to follow guidance and take a break in her crate when needed. This clever girl has even figured out baby gates! She’s dog-door trained, has had zero accidents, and loves quiet affection on her terms. Scootie is happiest in a calm, adult household with no cats or small animals—somewhere her adopters can invest time in building trust, providing structure, and letting her shine. Scootie is a loyal, clever companion who will flourish with patience and love. 💛 Could she be the thoughtful, quiet friend you’ve been waiting for?

Story
💖 Meet Cassidy — your gentle, brave little shadow 🐾 Hi, I’m Cassidy… a quiet, tender-hearted girl on a big journey to learning that the world can be kind. I may be shy at first, but don’t let that fool you—I’m one of the bravest little souls you’ll ever meet. I’m a calm, low-key kind of gal who is happiest in a peaceful home. I’m fully potty-trained, love my cozy crate (my safe little haven), and I’m so easy to live with that sometimes my foster dad forgets I’m even there! Other dogs? I love them. They help me feel safe and show me the ropes. A calm, confident dog friend in my forever home would mean the world to me. Now let’s talk about the way to my heart… snacks. The good ones, please. Chicken, steak, fishy treats—and pup cups? Yes, please! I also adore soft blankets and finding the perfect cozy hideaway. I’m still working through some fears from my past—things like leashes, doors, and fast-moving hands can be a little scary. But every single day, I’m getting braver. I’ve started taking treats from my foster dad’s hand (and even sneaking in a few licks!), allowing gentle pets, and I even slept outside my crate recently. Big wins for a little girl like me. What I need most is a patient, kind human who will let me move at my own pace. Someone who understands that trust takes time and that the smallest victories are actually the biggest ones. In return, I promise to become the most loyal, loving companion you could ever imagine. I’m not the loudest or the boldest—but I just might be the one who needs you the most. ✨ Ready to help me blossom? Apply today. ✨
