Story
Say hello to Dixie located in the Reno / Tahoe area she is a playful, affectionate dog who wants nothing more than to be your best friend. Dixie is a 3-year-old American Blue Heeler who is sweet, loyal, and full of personality. She’s about 60 lbs, spayed and microchipped. Dixie absolutely loves her people and wants to be right by their side. She thinks she’s a lap dog, enjoys affection, and loves spending time with her family. She’s playful, brave, and very protective, the kind of dog that makes you feel safe and loved at the same time. She has a lot of energy and would be happiest with space to run or an active owner who enjoys the outdoors. Dixie needs to be the only dog in the home. She can be aggressive toward other dogs in the household and doesn’t like sharing attention, which is the only reason we’re looking for a new home for her. With one-on-one attention, some structure, and room to burn energy, she’s an amazing companion and would do great on a farm, with land, or hiking.

Story
Ella is a tender, fun-loving companion. She is gentle and affectionate, but playful and outgoing. Although energetic, she prefers to sleep a lot, snuggle some, and play a little! Safe in off-leash environments, she is responsive to calling and very environmentally aware. An excellent house and travel dog, she is crate and car trained, but can be left independently once she's comfortable without any worry. She would love a stable and caring home, with consistent company and walks. She is low maintenance and self-sufficient. An excellent all-around lifestyle dog for someone attentive and active.
