Story
Gingerbread Gingerbread can only be described as a pair of ears. Just kidding, she’s a lot more than that. The ears are the hallmark of her most prominent breed, the cattle dog. She is also mixed with border collie and a few other breeds. This adorable girl can be a bit nervous when meeting new people. One of the reason it takes Gingerbread time to warm up is because she has limited sight. She is completely blind in one eye and can only see shadows out of the other. She doesn't let this stop her! Once she is comfortable, she will jump straight into your arms. When you're one of her people, she is the absolute sweetest thing ever. She loves to cuddle up on the couch for a movie. She also loves going for walkies, but her leash manners definitely need a lot of work, and she does have some reactivity issues that will take a bit of attention. Even still, she is super eager to please, she is incredibly smart, and she is insanely food motivated. Along with food and attention and cuddles, this pretty girl also loves her toys and chews. Despite her breed mix, Gingerbread can be pretty mellow and laid back, as long as she’s in the same room as you. She hates being alone and if you leave her outside, she will sing the song of her cattle dog ancestors. Despite not enjoying being alone, she is good at entertaining herself when given toys or chews. But mostly, she just wants to cuddle and play. Story
Hello! This is Pablo - an incredibly affectionate, and energetic, blue heeler! Though he is small for his breed, he makes up for it in loyalty and loving personality. I recently acquired him, but unfortunately he does not get along with the dogs I currently have in my home. I do think that if given proper training, as he is only one year old, he would be unstoppable! However, I do not have the funds to get him into professional training and would prefer him to go to a home that could do that for him. He is very smart, but stubborn, and is the best fetch buddy you have ever seen! I am hesitant to label him as aggressive for ALL dogs, as I’ve also seen him play well with others. But, he also lovessss snuggling (and is quite the bed hog) and wants to be by your side always! He must go to a home that WILL neuter him. I will not rehome to anyone who will use him for breeding. Active, single dog home is preferable!

Story
We introduced Kismet a little while back.... We are bringing him back up again.... This guy is somewhere between 12-18 months, roughly 45-50 pounds. This guy is perfect in almost every way..... Except for cats. They are an absolute hard no for him. He gets along with dogs of all ages, sexes, sizes. Loves kids. He's housebroken and crate trained (but may still have an accident here and there as he's learning the ropes in a new environment). He's still a little shy in new adventures so a home that can be patient with him would be his ideal home. He will hopefully be at the Scottish Highland Games event with us this Saturday afternoon. As with all of our dogs, he's neutered and UTD on shots and microchipped. To find his preliminary application please go to res-que.org. Applications are listed on the site. Our dogs are spayed/neutered and utd on shots before adoption unless medically not advised by our Vet.
