Sugar and sweet, cute and smart. She does have a minor health issue which will be with her for life. Some doggos, when they are spayed have an incontinence issue. This is something that is easily treated with a pill, but she will need this for life. This is a simple thing that gives the dog a great quality of life. Just hide the pill in a cheese snack and life goes on. Sugar pawmices to tell you great tales of her life and will keep you in laughter, wiggles and love for the rest of her life. This girl is as sweet as her name and ready to please. Stop and meet her today!

Story
Meet Dez – the world’s sweetest over-excited greeter, professional snuggler, and border-collie-brained sidekick looking for his forever home! 🤍🐾Dez is settling in beautifully. He just got back from a long road trip and was a great traveler. He’s showing us more of his true personality every day: joyful, sensitive, eager, wildly affectionate, and clearly loved and trained by someone in his past. Dez is crate- and house-trained, and knows sit, down, touch, off/leave it, and spin in circles. Dez listens and wants to please. Dez fetches like a champ and loves balls and frisbees the best. Dez wants to be close to his people, is developing excellent recall, and has a promising future as an off-leash adventure candidate. 🌟 What Makes Dez SpecialBorder Collie Energy in Full Force:** He’s an active, intelligent boy who thrives when he has a job to do or an adventure to join. If you’re looking for a hiking buddy, a running partner, a frisbee fetcher, or a “help with every chore” shadow… Dez is your guy.Champion Snuggler:** Sit still, and he’ll melt right into you. He *lives* for closeness.Happy, Social Butterfly:** Dez LOVES people—especially kids—but his enthusiastic greetings (think: paws first! wiggle-body! big feet everywhere!) might be too much for small children. Older kids? He’ll adore them.Cat-Friendly:** He’s polite and appropriate with feline friends.Dog-Friendly** Loves to play and takes correction well from other dogs when he is being a little too excited. Crate Trained:** He settles great in a crate, though he’s made it clear he doesn’t want to spend all day in one. Fair enough, buddy.Great Recall:** On a long line, he walks beautifully and checks in constantly. He’s not a flight risk and should be a wonderful off-leash partner once fully bonded.🏡 Dez’s Ideal HomeAn active household that appreciates an active, smart, affectionate working-breed dog. Someone who will guide him as he continues to learn polite greetings and channel all that joyful energy. If you love a dog who loves you back 200%, Dez will make your heart explode. If you think Dez might be the missing piece in your family, reach out—he’s ready to be someone’s loyal sidekick for life. 💙🐶We require professional obedience training from a certified trainer for ALL adoptions.
