Story
We found Sally on August 14, 2025, in a wonderfully equipped Animal Center in Southern California. Sally was just 5 months old and so very animated and cute. She has a very happy personality, loves to play with our other dog, and will share the toys when there seems to be a standoff. She does not show any aggressive behavior. Sally does very well with commands; we tell her "Crate" and she goes to her crate. When I call her, she comes running. She is housebroken. Trained to potty outside. When given enough consistent training, she responds with enthusiasm, especially if a treat reward is in sight. Sally IS a very intelligent dog, and she can be quite determined when she wants to be somewhere else. Sally weighs between 30-35 pounds & is 1 year old. She needs a family with kids or even just someone younger to give her the exercise she needs. We are willing to participate in transporting her to her new home within a reasonable distance from Reno, NV.

Story
Meet Dorothy Dorothy, formerly known as Huckaby, is a resilient senior girl who was saved from the euthanasia list and is now getting the second chance she deserves. After being neglected and dumped, she was in rough shape, but thanks to proper care and the love of her foster family, Dorothy has blossomed into a happy, vibrant dog. Her foster says she is no couch potato — now that her medical issues have been addressed, she has a new lease on life. Dorothy absolutely loves her walks, enjoys staying active, and is proving to be a wonderful farm dog. She gets along with all the other animals and is gentle, kind, and well-mannered. Dorothy is affectionate, loyal, and eager to be part of her family’s daily routine. She still appreciates a soft bed and plenty of love, but she also thrives on activity and companionship. This sweet senior is looking for a forever home where she can continue to shine. If you’re looking for a dog who will reward your kindness tenfold, Dorothy is ready to be your loyal companion.
