Story
Meet Dutch🤎, a stunningly handsome and charming almost 2-year-old boy with a rich, chocolate-brown coat and captivating blue eyes that sparkle with kindness🥰. This loving boy was welcomed into a wonderful family in the San Diego area about 8 months ago. Initially, Dutch was more reserved and fearful when rescued from the shelter, but with time, he blossomed into a confident companion for his family, except for the husband, around whom he seems anxious and stressed. Despite the husband's patient and loving approach, Dutch remains wary, prompting his family to consider finding a new home where he can thrive without fear. With his current family, Dutch has formed strong bonds with the wife and kids, who adore him dearly, but they've come to realize that a woman-only household might be the perfect solution for Dutch to live a stress-free life. His family believes Dutch may have had a negative experience with a man in the past, which has led to his hesitation around men unless they exhibit familiar characteristics. Importantly, Dutch has never shown aggression and is great with cats and other dogs, making him an excellent addition to any household. He's potty-trained, crate-trained, and loves spending time in his crate and bed. Dutch is neutered, vaccinated, and chipped, and his current family is heartbroken but hopeful that he'll find a loving home🏡 where he can receive all the love and care he deserves. If you're thinking of adding a loving companion to your family and believe you'd be the perfect match for Dutch, get your application in ASAP! This gorgeous boy will undoubtedly capture your heart💗with his loving nature.😻 Currently being cared for in Southern California, Dutch can be transported to northern states such as Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, or other locations within the continental United States, where a loving family awaits to welcome him.

Story
Holstein is a cattle dog mix who came to us by way of the Paiute Reservation and is ready to begin his next chapter in a loving home.Like many young pups, he is curious, playful, and still learning about the world. With his cattle dog heritage, you can expect an intelligent, attentive companion who will thrive with structure, activity, and positive training. Holstein is the kind of dog who forms a deep bond with his person and loves having a purpose—whether that’s joining you on adventures or simply being your loyal sidekick. He will need continued guidance as he grows, including socialization, training, and a consistent routine. With the right foundation, he will develop into a confident, well-rounded companion.Holstein would do best in a home that can provide:Regular exercise and mental stimulationConsistent, positive trainingTime, patience, and commitmentIn return, you’ll have a smart, devoted dog who will be by your side through it all. Before adoption, all Boxers and Buddies dogs are spayed/neutered, up-to-date with age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped.
