The first thing you may notice about Igris is his favorite squeaky toy. He loves to show it off. He recently spent some time in a foster home and we learned a great deal about Igris from his foster. He is quirky and cuddly guy who recently learned to play fetch. He is a good leash walker and likes car rides. Igris is a great explorer and a curious guy who loves treats. He is smart and loves to learn new things. His foster was working on teaching him some commands and Igris is a quick learner. He is learning to be comfortable around new people and simply wants them to move slowly so he can properly sniff them and assess the situation, then he is all cuddles! He would do best in a home with no cats and a family who will help reinforce the things he has learned. Igris has a great deal of energy to burn (both physical and mental). He will benefit from seeing a trainer to give you both some tools for a happy life and cool adventures together. Getting a dog is a long term commitment which begins in steps. Igris will take 3 days to begin to settle into a new home with new people and 3 weeks to start to feel like the home is his. It may take 3 months for your relationship to begin to feel like the real thing. It all starts with a meeting and a pup cup...are you ready to make a long term commitment?
