Hi, my name is Sport! My name suits me because I am active and agile, and love anything involving play and physical activity. I also love water. I'm a master ball-fetcher, master leash-walker, and would fit in great with some humans that have an active lifestyle. I'm ready to find my forever people. Make an appointment to meet me today!

Story
This is Shyla! She was evacuated from Ruidoso, then came to our shelter, and was quickly adopted, and thenreturned, by no fault of her own. Shyla is an active heeler, who wants to explore her surroundingand get to know you at her own pace. Her ideal adopter will let her decompress and settle in,without pushing her to do too much too soon. What her foster family says:All you Cattle Dog Lovers, listen up! Shyla is the real deal and has all the awesome traits of aCattle Dog. She is an active, fun-size girl that is intelligent, smart as a whip, loyal, does theheeler check-in with her human when walking or running, and loves to have a job. She enjoysher daily walks or runs and exploring all around her. Shyla loves the outdoors and would make agreat companion for hiking or any outdoor activity. She will need a few days to settle in, sniff outher home and decompress before she loves you to pieces, your sign will be when she gives youa kiss and snuggles right up to you. She also loves a good sit-down on the couch with herhuman. Shyla learns commands quick; she knows sit, down, spin and come. She displays gooddiscipline and sits for her foster mom every time she is leashed. She is house and leashtrained. Shyla is dog selective so she should be the only dog in the house, and no cats. Withtraining, she may be able to overcome that. Her foster family has offered to pay for her first sessionof training if adopter would like to explore the option for Shyla to acclimate her around otherdogs. With a little patience and a lot of love, Shyla should quickly open up and start loving her new lifewith you!
