Story
Meet FRANKIE Meet Frankie, a bundle of love and joy eagerly waiting for his forever family. This sweet boy might be a bit shy at first, especially around men, but with a little patience and understanding, he blossoms into the most loyal companion. Frankie absolutely adores playing with other dogs and his human friends. His gentle demeanor, marked by patience and kindness, makes him a delight to be around. Frankie is a well-behaved pup who was a champ during bath time and is making great progress with leash training. Remarkably, Frankie is a silent companion – he doesn't bark, whimper, or whine. He finds comfort in his crate, willingly staying inside with the door open and is perfectly content to sleep there at night. House-trained and accident-free, Frankie is impeccable indoors. While he may have a nervous tinkle around men, this can be managed with gentle reassurance. When he wants affection, he'll gently paw at you, melting your heart every time. Frankie is pure love, and he's ready to share it with a family who will cherish him as much as he will them. Adopt Frankie and experience the joy of unconditional love! For adoption information about FRANKIE, go to https://www.usdogcoalition.org/adoptions We do not adopt out of state, adoption fees are $300. We require an application to meet with any of our dogs and we reserve the right to do a thorough veterinarian check and a home check.

Story
Winston is 8 months old medium sized floofy boy! Hi there, I'm Winston! I'm a young pup full of energy and love. I'm always ready for a game of fetch or a good cuddle. I had a rough start to life wiht an owner who left my puppy collar on and it grew into my neck. Now new things make me a bit nervous, but I am overcoming that and my silly side is emerging. I am bit goofy and playful, which makes everyone around me laugh. I'm also smart and quick to learn new tricks.. I am a little nervous with having anything around my neck still. I'm loyal and friendly, always ready to make new friends. Adopting me means gaining a funny, loyal, and energetic companion who will always be there for you! All our dogs/cats are vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, on preventions, and spayed/neutered if old enough. Story
Fun loving, goofy and handsome? Say no more! We have the dog for you! Joey is a sweet boy who wants to give all his love to his furever family! He is crate trained, and house broken. He has learned commands of sit, paw and speak. He loves to chase a ball and hold toys in his mouth as he runs around the backyard. He is high energy and loves to run and play, so he will need a home that can meet those needs. If he gets loose, he thinks it is a game and will run if you chase him, a fenced in yard would be ideal for him. Joey does best with female dogs only. Are you interested in adopting Joey or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received. Completed applications can be sent via email to help@jcapl.org, faxed to 919-300-5524, or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner (White Oak Shopping Center). We will contact you as soon as possible once we receive your application for Joey. Thanks for thinking adoption!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Sid is a fun guy with big ears and lots of personality. He is very treat motivated and a quick learner. He loves to cuddle and be with his person.  This handsome canine friend has a leash aggression trait, which means that he thrives best in a home where he can be the sole dog. Sid's ideal environment includes a fenced yard, allowing him the space to explore, play, and enjoy the outdoors in a secure setting. In his foster home, Sid has shown great compatibility with other dogs. However, it's important to note that when meeting new canine friends while on a leash, Sid might take a bit of time to warm up. Patience is the key with Sid, as he transitions from cautious to comfortable when introduced to other dogs in a controlled manner. Sid's journey has shaped him into a loyal and loving companion, and his unique needs add a layer of charm to his personality. While he may need some time to build trust with other dogs, the rewards of having Sid as part of your family are immeasurable.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 25, 2024, 10:27 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Hi! I’m Squid. I’ve been waiting way too long for my new (well, actually first!) family to find me. It all started when I was a stray, roaming the streets and minding my business when another dog knocked me up. Oops! When I had my babies, I got taken to a shelter where I hid in the corner of my kennel to nurse my babies. Then some random lady picked me up and brought me to her house where I had a whole room to take care of my pups. I gave everything I had to my babies, to the point that all my hair fell out while nursing! How embarrassing! My foster mom fed me good food and gave me lots of baths and now I’m nice and shiny again.  Im currently crashing here with several dogs and some cats. Apparently cats don’t want to play with me, but that’s okay I just watch them now. I’m still pretty shy around new people and take several days to warm up in a new place. But now that I know my foster ma, I do a silly dance for her every time she comes home. Maybe I can show you?  I’ve had a pretty rough start between being a homeless single mother and all, but I’m learning that life can be pretty good! I love laying in the sun, carrying stuffed toys around, wrestling with my foster brother, and choosing to lay in cat beds that are way too small for me even if there’s large dog beds available.  Foster Mom keeps telling me that there’s a family out there for me, so I’ll keep dreaming about you until you find me!   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 25, 2024, 10:27 pm
