Story
Meet Jasper - a 1.5-year-old mix rescued from a high kill shelter. He is a friendly guy about 45lbs, neutered, and up to date on shots. He was heartworm positive but is almost finished with treatment and doing very well. He’s house trained and learning basic commands. Jasper is thriving in a social environment and would love a home with a dog sibling or friends. He is pretty chill and would also do well as a single person’s best buddy. Jasper is smart and treat motivated. As a former stray, he can compete for food and treats, so should be fed separately to feel safe. The agile Jasper can jump six foot fences. When he’s happy in his own yard, he will stay put unless he hears something interesting. But, his new family should plan the yard accordingly or rely on leashed walks. Jasper is usually quiet but can howl mournfully if left alone. He would do well with a routine and learning to trust that his people will be back. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Sid is a fun guy with big ears and lots of personality. He is very treat motivated and a quick learner. He loves to cuddle and be with his person.  This handsome canine friend has a leash aggression trait, which means that he thrives best in a home where he can be the sole dog. Sid's ideal environment includes a fenced yard, allowing him the space to explore, play, and enjoy the outdoors in a secure setting. In his foster home, Sid has shown great compatibility with other dogs. However, it's important to note that when meeting new canine friends while on a leash, Sid might take a bit of time to warm up. Patience is the key with Sid, as he transitions from cautious to comfortable when introduced to other dogs in a controlled manner. Sid's journey has shaped him into a loyal and loving companion, and his unique needs add a layer of charm to his personality. While he may need some time to build trust with other dogs, the rewards of having Sid as part of your family are immeasurable.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 19, 2024, 5:21 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Hi! I’m Squid. I’ve been waiting way too long for my new (well, actually first!) family to find me. It all started when I was a stray, roaming the streets and minding my business when another dog knocked me up. Oops! When I had my babies, I got taken to a shelter where I hid in the corner of my kennel to nurse my babies. Then some random lady picked me up and brought me to her house where I had a whole room to take care of my pups. I gave everything I had to my babies, to the point that all my hair fell out while nursing! How embarrassing! My foster mom fed me good food and gave me lots of baths and now I’m nice and shiny again.  Im currently crashing here with several dogs and some cats. Apparently cats don’t want to play with me, but that’s okay I just watch them now. I’m still pretty shy around new people and take several days to warm up in a new place. But now that I know my foster ma, I do a silly dance for her every time she comes home. Maybe I can show you?  I’ve had a pretty rough start between being a homeless single mother and all, but I’m learning that life can be pretty good! I love laying in the sun, carrying stuffed toys around, wrestling with my foster brother, and choosing to lay in cat beds that are way too small for me even if there’s large dog beds available.  Foster Mom keeps telling me that there’s a family out there for me, so I’ll keep dreaming about you until you find me!   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 19, 2024, 5:21 pm
