Story
Hi, I’m Lark, and if you are looking for a happy little sidekick with bright eyes and a wag that never seems to quit, I think we should meet. I’m about 5.5 months old, and I have that classic puppy charm where everything feels exciting, fun, and worth checking out. People at Happy Bark think I might be a beagle, collie mix or something along those lines, which sounds about right because I’m curious, sweet, and always ready to be part of whatever is going on. I came from an unwanted litter, but that is not the story I want to lead with. I’m much more interested in the good part, finding a family of my own. I’m friendly, playful, and I get along well with other dogs. I do notice cats, but mostly because I seem to think they might want to play with me. I also spend time with kids who come to play with us, and I’m learning that people are pretty wonderful. Like any puppy, I have energy to spare, and I’m still figuring things out, including leash walking. I also have a nice calm side, which means I’m not just about zoomies and games. I can settle in when the moment calls for it, and I’d love a home that will enjoy both sides of me, the silly puppy fun and the sweet cuddle breaks in between. Lark's adoption fee is $350. Story
Hi, I’m Drake, and I’ve got all the puppy sweetness in a slightly smaller package. I’m 5.5 months old, and people think I’m a beagle, collie mix or something close to that. Whatever my mix may be, it gave me a bright, happy face and a playful spirit that makes it easy to fall for me. I came from an unwanted litter, but these days I’m focused on the future. I’m a friendly boy who enjoys other dogs, and I don’t seem too concerned about cats except to wonder whether they might like to play. Kids come spend time with us every Friday, so I’m getting lots of practice soaking up attention and having fun with people. I’m still learning the ropes, including how to walk on a leash, and like any puppy, I have plenty of energy. I also know how to settle down when things get quiet, which makes me a really lovely mix of fun and easygoing. If you’re hoping for a sweet young dog who will keep you smiling and grow up by your side, I’d love the chance to be your boy. Drake's adoption fee is $350. Story
Daisy is a loving 7 month old puppy. She will greet you with belly rubs and hugs. We are looking to rehome her due to behavioral issues of food aggression. She tends to counter and table surf and if we correct her with food she has taken she becomes aggressive and bites at our hands and arms. She has never showed this aggression to the toddler and seems to understand being gentle with the toddler. She has bitten myself and husband leaving blood blisters. She is still working on house training but will often cue when she needs to go potty. Unfortunately our work schedules and having a toddler in the home do not allow us the time she needs to work on behavioral and potty training. She would benefit from a family with a fenced yard for running and one who has time to dedicate to training. She is highly intelligent and has picked up on commands and a few tricks we have worked on with her. She is kennel trained and will come with a plethora of toys and a kennel.
