Story
Isabella really needs to find her furever home. The shelter environment is very stressful for her. She’s a little shy to meet new people, but she warms up quickly with treats. She loves treats! Isabella is dog selective, and should be introduced to new animals with caution. She’s got lots of energy, and would love a human companion who will play with her and take her for long walks. Isabella wants to know, “Will you be my friend?”

Story
Howdy! Name’s Bo—and if you're lookin’ for a four-legged best friend who’s equal parts fun and snuggle, well partner, you just struck gold. I’m a 2-year-old Australian Cattle Dog mix, weighin’ in at a solid 60 pounds of charm, loyalty, and tennis-ball-chompin’ energy. I’ve got the zoomies when it’s playtime, and I’m a world-class couch companion when it’s time to wind down. I love hangin’ with other dogs and I’ve been makin’ awesome progress with housetraining. I’m a smart cookie who just wants to make you proud. Now, full disclosure: I’m not a fan of cats. Nope, not my thing. So I’ll need a home without any of those sneaky little whisker-twitchers. But hey, if your place is feline-free, we’re gonna get along just fine. Other details - I love belly rubs, ear scratches and giving kisses. I’m a romantic like that. I also love treats, snow and toys! I’m overall a stand up guy who also knows sit, stay and down. So whaddaya say? Ready to bring home a loyal buddy who’s got a heart as big as his smile? I’ll be waitin’—ball in mouth and tail waggin’. – Bo Bo is located in Erie, PA with an adoption fee of $275. Story
Well hey there, I am Jax, and I have been told I am quite the catch. I am about 2 years old, a handsome 50 pounds of black and tan good looks, and I have this adorable little head tilt that makes people smile every single time. I like to think it is my signature move. You talk, I tilt, you melt. Works like a charm. I am the kind of guy who never meets a stranger. Truly. If you have hands, I assume they are for petting me. If you have a lap, I will consider it an invitation. I adore attention and will happily soak up all the love you are willing to give. Belly rubs, ear scratches, sweet talk, yes please to all of it. Before I came to Happy Bark, I kept my shelter kennel nice and tidy because I am a gentleman. I walk well on a leash, so we can take strolls around the neighborhood together, maybe show off a little. I mean, have you seen this face. And if you already have a dog at home, that is great news. I do well with other dogs and would not mind a buddy to romp around with or just hang out in the yard. Life threw me a little curveball when my previous owner ran into some housing troubles, but I am not dwelling on the past. I am focused on my future, and I am hoping it includes a comfy couch, a steady supply of treats, and a family to call my own. I am neutered, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines, and more than ready to start my next chapter. If you are looking for a friendly, affectionate, all around good boy who will greet you like you are the best thing that ever happened, I am right here waiting. Jax's adoption fee is $275. Story
Hi there, I am Dottie, and if you are looking for a fun sized bundle of joy with a big personality, well, you just found her. I am a 1 and a half year old girl, about 32 pounds, which in my opinion is the perfect size. Not too big, not too small, just right for couch cuddles, car rides, and following you from room to room to make sure you are not getting into any mischief without me. I came in as a stray, so my past is a bit of a mystery, but I am ready to leave all that behind and start my happily ever after. I am spayed, healthy, and full of life. I have this gorgeous speckled coat and perky ears that always seem to be listening for the word walk or treat. People tell me I look very smart, and I think they are right. I am very outgoing and I love everyone I meet. Strangers, friends, visitors, I consider them all future besties. I tested well with a three year old little girl and was gentle and sweet, because even though I have energy, I know when to be a good lady. I would be happy in a family that wants a dog who is involved in all the action. Other dogs, yes please. I enjoy having canine buddies and would love a playful companion. Cats, though, are just a little too interesting for me. I cannot help it, they move and I notice. So a home without cats would be best for everyone. I am at that wonderful age where I am past the tiny puppy stage but still young and ready to learn. I would love walks, adventures, maybe even some training classes so I can show off how clever I am. Most of all, I want a person or family to call my own. I promise to greet you with a wagging tail every single day and remind you how special you are. If you are looking for a loyal sidekick with a bright spirit and a heart full of love, I am your girl. Dottie's adoption fee is $275. Story
Meet Gourd! Or as we like to call him, Cheesy Gourdita Crunch Supreme. Gourd is a sweet guy who lives up to his name because he loves food! Treats are the way to his heart, especially cheese! Gourd is a timid fella who can take a while to warm up to people. He has made a lot of progress through the ASPCA's Behavioral Rehabilitation Center and is learning to be brave! He'll need a patient home that gives him time to decompress and help him learn that the world isn't so scary! He likes to go on walks and does well with calmer dogs who don't overwhelm him. Gourd's heart is as big as his ears and all he needs is for someone to give him a chance! With a little bit of TLC (tacos, love and care), this goofy guy could become your new best friend. Come and meet Gourd today!
