Story
🌟 Meet Noir — A True Diamond Noir’s life could have changed in an instant. She was rescued just moments before she wandered onto a high-speed highway—frightened, trembling, and unsure of the world around her. After she was brought to safety, we searched and waited, hoping someone would come for her—hoping she had been missed. But no one ever did. Still, Noir was never invisible to us. From the beginning, she showed us who she truly is: gentle, kind, loving, and absolutely beautiful. Noir is not a diamond in the rough—she is a true diamond. She does not need to become wonderful; she already is. She does not need to transform into something special; she is already special, just as she is. What Noir needs now is a family who sees her clearly and loves her fully. At between 1 and 2 years old and about 45 pounds, she has a soft heart, a sweet spirit, and an amazing ability to connect with the people and animals around her. She loves people, is good with children, enjoys the company of other dogs, and is respectful with the cats in her foster home. There is something quietly radiant about Noir. She does not ask for much—just kindness, comfort, and someone who understands that a tender soul deserves to be treasured. 💛 The Home Noir Dreams Of Noir would thrive in a home that is gentle, loving, and steady—a place where she can feel secure, be cherished, and continue to enjoy the simple joys of family life. She is healthy, vaccinated, and spayed, and she is ready for someone to recognize the wonderful dog she already is. She does not need someone to fix her. She needs someone to recognize the wonderful dog already standing in front of them: a sweet, sensitive, loving girl with so much beauty to share. If you have been waiting for a dog with a gentle heart, a kind nature, and a soul that shines, Noir may be the one. Story
Meet Puffy—an affectionate, soft-hearted 2-year-old (40-pound) lovebug with soulful eyes that seem to ask one simple question: “Are you my person?” He’s healthy, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all his shots—ready to start his new life the moment you say yes. Puffy did have a home once, but his family could no longer keep him. He didn’t understand why the people he loved were suddenly gone… he only knows he’s still waiting for another chance to belong. Even with that big change, Puffy hasn’t hardened—if anything, he’s even more tender. He seeks out closeness, leans into gentle attention, and relaxes when he knows you’re nearby. He’s the kind of dog who makes a house feel warmer just by being in it—quiet company at your feet, a happy greeting at the door, and a steady presence when you need one. Puffy is wonderfully social and easy to fit in—he does well with cats, dogs, and children. He’d thrive with people who want a true companion and will include him in everyday moments: morning routines, weekend errands, couch time, and all the little in-between parts of life that add up to “home.” A fenced yard would be a dream come true, but what matters most to Puffy is something far simpler and much bigger: being chosen for good. Puffy charms nearly everyone he meets—and once you spend a little time with him, it’s hard not to imagine him as “yours.” All he needs now is someone willing to be his safe place—his forever home. He’s doing great in his foster home in the GTA and is ready for the next (and best) chapter of his life. We’re looking for a family located in Ontario within about 3 hours of Toronto. If you’re ready to adopt and give this sweet boy the fresh start he deserves, please email our rescue at c4ptoronto@gmail.com and ask about Puffy and our foster to adopt program.

Story
Hi my name is Chridhe! Pronounced "Cree" my names means "heart or sweetheart" and people tell me it is true!I'm a 4 year old girl that may be shy and nervous when meeting new people or in unfamiliar situations, but with patience and a gentle approach, my affectionate personality quickly shines through! Once I feel safe, I love to cuddle and be close to my people. I'm also full of energy and I have a playful, hyper side, enjoying zoomies, toys, and interactive playtime. My sister Cinnamon and I have lived together and could go home to the same family. We can get jealous of attention to each other, so we would prefer a home with lots of space and extra humans to give us all the attention we love.We would thrive in a calm, understanding home that can help build our confidence while giving us plenty of exercise and love. If you would like to meet Chridhe, she is staying at 91 Patterson Rd in Barrie. Our adoption hours are 11 am - 5 pm, or you can give us a call at (705) 728-7311 ex.6 or email at barrie@ontariospca.ca Our dog adoption fee is $585.00 each, and all dogs are spayed or neutered, and come with vaccinations, de-wormer, microchip, and much more!
