Florentine weighs 22KG and is a year old. She is a sweet mix that is hard to identify. She is good with all people including children and gets along well with other dogs and cats. She is good on a leash and rides well in the car. She doesn't bark a lot so would do well in a condo or apartment. She has no food aggression and is not destructive when left alone. She would do well in a home with a dog but is also ok to be an only dog. Florentine is a sweet and sassy girl and is ready for any adventure you have planned. My name is Kevin and I’m a male 1-year-old Jindo mix and I've been on quite the journey. I hail from the countryside, where I was born alongside my siblings after our mother gave birth. Unfortunately, we were left abandoned and found ourselves in a shelter. Life in the shelter has been a bit challenging for me, making it take a little time for me to adapt to new surroundings. I might seem a bit shy at first, but give me a day or two, and you'll see how quickly I warm up. I love getting attention and am not shy about asking for some cuddles and affection. I've made friends with other dogs here, so you can bet that our introduction will be filled with friendly greetings and playful antics. While I might not be a pro at walks just yet, I'm cool with quiet places. Loud noises can be a bit overwhelming for me, causing me to flatten myself on the ground. If you're looking for a calm companion who enjoys a nice stroll and some relaxation afterward, I'm your girl. I may have a burst of energy, but after a good walk, I'm more than happy to chill and relax. Sudden loud noises might make me jumpy, but with a patient and understanding friend like you, I know I'll become more confident. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.CLEOPATRA hails from Wapekeka in Northern Ontario and came south to look for a family to call her very own. What we know of her is that she was kept tied up outside of a home and just bred so she’s had a few litters but just how many, we have no idea. We have no knowledge on her parents so her breeds and the potential weight we have her listed as are mere guesses. She is spayed, vaccinated including rabies, microchipped and has tested negative for heart worm and Lyme disease. This lovely, gentle girl is still quite timid but has come a long way since joining her foster family. It takes her a little while to warm up to people but once she does she’ll show them just how affectionate she can be.  CLEOPATRA is crate trained and will sleep quietly in it all through the night and she will also seek it out during the day as she knows it’s her safe place to be. She’s also housetrained and hasn’t had any accidents in the house as she’ll let you know when she needs to go outside for the bathroom. She’s in a foster home with 3 other dogs and they all get along great together. She loves to go on her walks but she is new to a leash so does tend to pull. This lovely girl has had a rough start in life but that’s all behind her now and we’re going to find her the perfect family that has everything she needs and more. She would best suit a quiet but active family who will take her on lots of walks and hikes so she gets the regular exercise she needs to remain a healthy girl. She travels well in a vehicle so will always be up for a drive especially if it leads to an exciting adventure for her. CLEOPATRA loves to be around her humans and will follow them around like a shadow but she doesn’t seek out affection just yet but we know she will eventually. She’ll also lay quietly beside you and is just happy knowing she’s at her humans feet. She’s just starting to play with toys and she loves to chase a ball around outside with the other dogs. She requires a fenced yard so she can play outside and be kept safe. She would like a sibling as she really enjoys romping around with the dogs in her foster home but we’re not saying she can’t be an only child either. She has a cat in her foster home and she’s never chased him but hasn’t interacted with him either so as long as a cat is dog savvy and there’s a slow, supervised introduced then we feel they can get along just fine. We recommend children aged 10 and up as she hasn’t been around any up until this point. This energetic boy is looking for a confident and active owner. Bairn is high energy and loves to keep busy! He enjoys going for runs, long walks, swimming and cuddling with his people. Bairn thrives with constant training and loves to learn new things - he is such a smarty pants! He is reactive to new people, dogs and some vehicles; he will need to be walked on a muzzle as a precaution. Bairn’s reactivity is decreased greatly with a combination of: draining his energy, always keeping distance from triggers, positive reinforcement for good behaviour, and constant training on his walks to occupy his mind and keep him in control. Bairn will need a dedicated owner to continue this with him long term. Bairn is not friendly with new people and will need slow controlled interactions when introducing him to a new person. Once he can trust you, he is a lovable and goofy guy. Patience and understanding can go a long way with Bairn and, in time, he will prove he is the best boy! He is only suitable in a house with a fully fenced yard with no small children or other dogs.
