Story
Leonard is an approximately 1-2 yo., 51 lbs. McNab Collie. He's initially shy but warms up quickly and turns into the sweetest most loving dog. Leonard is simply awesome. He's potty and crate trained and walks nicely on leash. He has learned basic commands and the 'place" command quickly. He does awesome with friendly small and large dogs and loves to play but is not over the top. He has met our kitty and was very friendly and actually tried to engage her in some play. We think Leonard would do well with respectful children. He is a medium energy dog and would make a perfect companion. He does not have the traits of a working dog. He loves his walks and running off leash in the yard but also checks in with his handler and comes up for pets and snuggles. Leonard is truly wonderful and anyone will be lucky to have him. We would love a home for him that keeps up his training and provides him with the guidance and structure all dogs need to thrive. Leonard is special and we're looking for a great home for him. His adoption fee is $500. All of our adult dogs are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and flea treated. They all receive training to make the transition as successful as possible. If you're interested in a meet, you must fill out an application on our website www.wallflowersshine.com/application. Story
Hello, I`m Scooby! I`m about 2 years old and weigh 40 pounds.Do you like...Dogs? I`ve done well meeting other friendly, playful dogs at the shelter. Please bring your dog to meet me!Cats? Unknown. Slow and supervised introductions would help set me up for success. Ask staff for handouts!Kids? I have a lot of energy and may knock down little kiddos. I`d like to start out meeting kids old enough to help train me. 8+I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter. I have no known history. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption. My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! If you think we would be a good match come on down and ask to meet me! I`m looking for my forever home and it could be with you!ADOPTION INFORMATION: If you live in the city of Eugene or in Lane County you will be purchasing a dog license in addition to the adoption fee. You will get to choose between a one year, two year, or three year license. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. Story
Alma was found with her friend Blight, on 8/8/26 near Little Fall Creek Rd and Jasper Lowell Rd. It is unknown at this time if she is spayed. If you believe this is your missing dog, please contact the shelter at (541) 689-1503. Since this dog is new to the shelter and we are still looking for their family, they are not viewable on the adoption floor at this time. The shelter staff is giving me some time to settle in and adjust to this new place. As we get to know each other a little better, the behavior team and veterinary staff will then be evaluating my needs. Please stay tuned for my updated information! Our shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs can be unreliable and for most dogs we are only guessing at their primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road, Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. Story
Meet little Miss Bean. Bean is approximately 3 years old, 20 lbs. She looks like a heeler and has a bobbed tail with some Chihuahua mixed in as she's super small. Bean is a love and pretty friendly with new people. She can be shy in new situations and takes some time to get used to new environments. However, she did fabulous when we took her to a local park with her best doggie pal, Leonard. Bean does well in her crate, is potty and leash trained. She knows basic commands and loves jumping on the place cot to show off her awesome place skills. She is really food motivated so it's fun working with her. Bean has been friendly with all the dogs she's met at our rescue. She can get overwhelmed if they get too excited but she's a trooper and seems to really enjoy another dog's company. She's definitely a snuggler as well and loves to be petted and hang out with her people. We believe in training all dogs and would love to find someone that wants to continue the training Bean has received. It has really helped her build confidence and she'll need continued structure and guidance to succeed. Bean is the cutest girl and did also well meeting our kitty. Her adoption fee is $450. All of our adult dogs are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and flea treated. They all receive training to make the transition as successful as possible.
