NORA the ADORA-ABLE! Meet NORA, a true sweetheart with a heart of gold! OH BOY SHE IS A LOVE! At just 43 lbs, NORA is a mixed-breed beauty. Staff and volunteers at the shelter absolutely adored her which is one reason we rescued her! It's easy to see why they cried when we saved her! She's a people-lover through and through and has done great with other dogs. She is currently housed with three others and a cat too! She spent some time in a house with kids and she adored them, and they her. She is part herding breed so she has some herding dog tendencies (she wants to tell everyone what to do, and where to go do it ha!), but she knows her manners, listens well, and doesn't let her instinct worry her much, not at all like your average herding dog would! NORA is young, just active enough, and full of joy - an all-around happy-go-lucky girl! She carries an old injury to her front left paw that was likely never treated. It doesn't seem to slow her down, but seeking follow-up treatment could greatly benefit her, and START RESCUE is committed to paying for that follow-up! This sweet girl is listed as a 1 ½ year old female Welsh Corgi mix. She is a little chonky due to having been stuck in a shelter awhile and could shed a few pounds :) With her friendly demeanor and affectionate nature, NORA is the best!

Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Story
Before name or anything, I have to just come right out and say, this is a LOW-maintenance girl. Truly, if you have had any reservations about getting a dog on account of the “work” it requires, Josie Bear is here to say “Don’t worry, I’m easy!” Quick rundown on her measurements- age is approximate but we believe she is 6 years old, she weighs 55lbs and will stay that size. With a rescue, breed can never be said with certainty, but we believe she is a Border Collie mix. Take a look at her in action then come back to read more about this lovely girl. At 6 years old, Josie Bear knows the comfort of companionship, she doesn’t need much more than what you have to offer. When we all met Josie for the first time, the word said most was “easy-going,” followed by super mellow and calm. I imagine this girl living alongside an equally easy-going family, taking enjoyable evening walks together or putzing around the yard on a Saturday morning. Josie has excellent leash manners, and is both crate and house trained- basically pre-loaded with skills to fast-forward you into the good times of dog ownership. Josie does well with other dogs, her easy-going nature would be best suited for a low-energy or moderately playful buddy. When it was time to meet the resident house cat Josie was a touch too interested, so it would be best if she lived in a cat-free home. Not everyone is a cat person and that is okay! Josie is a sweet girl who has waited patiently for her family-dog-days and we know they are going look real good on her. if there are any questions we can answer or you are ready to move forward on bringing Josie home, email kristin@threelittlepittiesrescue.org Available for adoption to anywhere in the US. Story
WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Iris - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! The Iris flower represents 'Hope, Trust, Faith and Wisdom'. A perfect name for me as I have hope for a new life, trust that YOU will be the one and the wisdom to have faith that my new family is reading this bio right now!! I am at the perfect age of 3 years. I'm still active and playful, ready to have a blast with you on our action packed adventures but out of that puppy destructive stage. I am a tad bit shy at first meet but if you have treats it only takes me a NY second (not even the whole minute) to show my true loving self. Oh and guess what? I'm already house trained!! I come in at only around 40lbs which is also perfect. I'm big enough for all those said adventures (and everything is an adventure to me!) but not so big that I take up the whole couch. And since I'm at my adult weight there's no guessing on how big I'll be, what you see is what you'll be getting!! I get on great with people both tall and small and the other foster pups here. I would do great with a playful sibling (2 or 4 legged variety) or as your one and only! My coat is on the shorter side with some fringes that would require just a few brushings a week for me to stay looking my gorgeous self. And you do know what that means don't you? Oh my yep, that leaves us lots of extra time to 'spoil me rotten'. That's my most favoritest time, you and me time!! Is there a piece missing in your life? Someone to always be by your side? Your cohort in crime? Oh my, that could be ME! Please fill out my adoption application and we can start having ALL this fun, ALL the time!!!
