Story
PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE PROFILE Bella is an absolutely stunning girl. She looks like Lassie but with shorter hair that is a variety of shades of red. She has a fluffy tail. She is about 12 months old and weighs about 40 lbs. She has a lean body and long legs but is definitely a medium sized dog. She is fantastic with all dogs of all sizes, cats, and people. She walks well on the leash and does well in the crate. She found herself at a high kill high volume shelter through no fault of her own. She is currently still in Oklahoma where she was rescued but he can only be adopted out of state where people treat animals well. She has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport at one of our transport drop off locations below. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, we will either find a local foster to take her in or she will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Note: No dogs are advertised as potty-trained because most dogs need at least some re-training in a new environment and after being in a shelter/rescue environment/strays. www.facebook.com/desideratarescue/reviews (copy and paste into a new browser window) Transport locations: - Washington State (Kennewick, Spokane, Tumwater, Tacoma, Tukwila, Lynnwood/Edmonds, Bellingham) - Oregon (Portland and Springfield) - Colorado (Ft Lupton) - Idaho (Heyburn and Boise/Meridian) - Utah (Ogden) - Wyoming (Evanston, Rock Springs, Laramie) - Montana (Missoula) - Illinois (Vandalia, Springfield, Chicago) - Indiana (Spiceland, Burn Harbor) - Michigan (St Joseph, Battle Creek, Ann Arbor) - Wisconsin (Madison, Wausau, Eau Claire, Appleton, Milwaukee) - Minnesota (Minneapolis/St Paul) - Iowa (Des Moines) - Ohio (Columbus and London) - Pennsylvania (Erie, Pittsburgh and Harrisburg) - New York (Buffalo and Albany) - Connecticut (Enfield) - New Jersey (Bedminster) - Nevada (Las Vegas) - Arizona (Flagstaff) Vetting: spayed, microchipped, rabies vaccine, bordetella vaccine, dhpp vaccine x 3, lepto vaccine x 2, dewormed several times, on monthly flea and tick prevention, on monthly heartworm protection, heartworm tested (negative) Adoption fee: $550 (includes the $250 cost of transport from Oklahoma and all vetting listed above) Adoption application (copy and paste into a new browser window): https://form.jotform.com/82677586784176 FAQs (copy and paste into a new browser window): https://docs.google.com/document/d/12eb_SRtk1AzaBl87UltcLJ24MjH9UhQm_LE77iWZEQA/edit?tab=t.0 Desiderata Rescue is Oklahoma Licensed Rescue #95

If you are interested in meeting me, please fill out the application at www.woodscreekrescue.com. Filling out the application is not a commitment to an adoption and needs to be done prior to any further questions you might have or information you are seeking. Our Process is the following: 1. Fill out an application 2. Once the application is approved, you will be called or emailed about setting up a day and time to meet me. 3. After a "Meet and Greet" then a decision for both the rescue and you will determine if this is a good match. After this is determined, we will schedule a home check which can be the day of adoption depending on how things go. Want to see more of me? Check us out on Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok. We love having new followers.

Story
Hi, I’m Pip—50% sass, 50% snuggles, and 100% ready to steal your heart! With my spotted coat and spunky spirit, I’m the kind of pup who turns heads and melts hearts. I’m about a year old, full of love, and currently living my best life in foster care while I wait for my forever home. My foster family says I’m bursting with personality. I’ve got a happy tail, goofy expressions, and a big heart that’s always ready for cuddles. I love being near my people—whether we’re playing, snuggling, or just hanging out. I’ll be your shadow, your sidekick, your biggest fan. I already know how to sit, I settle nicely in my crate when it’s time to rest, and I’m doing well with my house manners—as long as I get regular potty breaks (a girl’s got needs, after all!). I’ve got lots of playful energy and am learning how to take a breath when I get extra excited. I just love people so much, it’s hard not to wiggle with joy! Because of that, I’d probably do best with bigger kids who won’t get knocked over by my enthusiasm. I might also enjoy having a calm dog friend who matches my vibe. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, loyal sidekick with a whole lot of heart—look no further. I might just be your girl. Pip is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventions. $200 Local Adoption Fee (in Texas) $450 Out of State Fee (includes transport to your area)
