Story
It is with a heavy heart that I am rehoming my boy Jake. The lease on my current rental home is up at the end of March, and my landlord has updated the terms for the new lease, which no longer allows pets. We can't afford the cost of moving to a different rental; our only viable option is to rehome. My family has had Jake since he was a puppy, and he has been an amazing companion. He is so gentle and smart. Jake is 9 years old, but you would not know it. He still runs, plays, climbs stairs, and hikes like a young dog. He is also talkative at times, especially when he thinks it's time for dinner. Jake only eats twice per day, but his physique is very stocky and has always been that way. He is also an inside dog and has always been part of the family. He is well-trained and has never had an accident in the house. I am not asking for a rehoming fee; I want to find someone who will give him the love and attention he deserves. I want him to have the best life.
