Story
Juniper is a 2 year old border collie mix. She is very sweet and incredibly intelligent. My husband and I found her behind our neighbor's home. Our neighbor no longer had the time to care for her, so she was severely neglected. We arranged a meeting with our neighbor and Juniper was signed over to us shortly after so we could care for her. She has high-energy needs and will need to be walked at least three times a day for exercise and exploring. She's a very curious dog, and she loves to cuddle on the couch with her humans. We recommend not bringing her into a home with babies or toddlers, because she is used to playing with older kids (5-10 year olds) that are bigger and she can play more her style, which includes more running! Juniper needs a home that has more open space to roam and run, no apartments please. She is great with medium and large dogs, but not tiny dogs. Thank you all for reading about our sweet Juniper!

Story
At just around 3 years old, this black-and-white spotted sweetheart has already overcome more than most dogs ever should. He arrived emaciated, dehydrated, and on the brink of collapse. Thanks to emergency care—and his own incredible spirit—Mowgli has made a remarkable recovery and is thriving. Medium-sized and currently around 35 pounds, Mowgli is still gaining healthy weight and watching his coat grow back in. Despite all he’s been through, he’s remained endlessly gentle and hopeful. He may be a little hand-shy at first, but he warms up quickly and loves to please. Smart, treat-motivated, and curious, he’s eager to learn and experience more of the world. Mowgli adores other dogs and plays beautifully with them, but he’d also be perfectly happy as your one-and-only. He’s crate-trained, learning leash manners, and figuring out the comforts of home life. Because new sights and sounds can still overwhelm him, Mowgli will need patience as he builds confidence—but he’s playful, loving, and already showing those signature cattle dog smarts. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s come back stronger than ever and is ready to start his next chapter, Mowgli just might be your perfect match. His adoption fee is $275 and he is fully vaccinated, neutered microchipped and on prevention. Please note that we are a completely volunteer run organization and may take 48 hours to respond. Please make sure to fully complete your application. If responses are not complete, you may not be contacted due to the volume of applications. We can only set up meet and greets once an application has been approved. Thank you for understanding. Story
Why hasn't she found her forever home? I have no idea. She's so smart, affectionate, athletic, and absolutely gorgeous. She will need some training on her leash walking to prevent pulling. Retta can easily jump a 4ft fence so ideally we would love for her to have a six foot. I think that she would be amazing in agility. Please reach out to me via text at 423-653-9895 to request our adoption questionnaire.
