Story
At just around 3 years old, this black-and-white spotted sweetheart has already overcome more than most dogs ever should. He arrived emaciated, dehydrated, and on the brink of collapse. Thanks to emergency care—and his own incredible spirit—Mowgli has made a remarkable recovery and is thriving. Medium-sized and currently around 35 pounds, Mowgli is still gaining healthy weight and watching his coat grow back in. Despite all he’s been through, he’s remained endlessly gentle and hopeful. He may be a little hand-shy at first, but he warms up quickly and loves to please. Smart, treat-motivated, and curious, he’s eager to learn and experience more of the world. Mowgli adores other dogs and plays beautifully with them, but he’d also be perfectly happy as your one-and-only. He’s crate-trained, learning leash manners, and figuring out the comforts of home life. Because new sights and sounds can still overwhelm him, Mowgli will need patience as he builds confidence—but he’s playful, loving, and already showing those signature cattle dog smarts. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s come back stronger than ever and is ready to start his next chapter, Mowgli just might be your perfect match. His adoption fee is $275 and he is fully vaccinated, neutered microchipped and on prevention. Please note that we are a completely volunteer run organization and may take 48 hours to respond. Please make sure to fully complete your application. If responses are not complete, you may not be contacted due to the volume of applications. We can only set up meet and greets once an application has been approved. Thank you for understanding. Story
Meet Venus Just like her name, Venus is pure beauty inside and out. This 1-year-old sweetheart has the softest eyes and a gentle soul that will quietly steal your heart. Venus is exceptionally dog-friendly and loves having canine friends by her side. She absolutely adores kids and truly shines around them—gentle, loving, and happiest when surrounded by their laughter. She’s also eager to learn and wants so badly to do the right thing, making her a wonderful candidate for continued training and confidence-building. Venus can be very shy around men. While we don’t know her past, we believe she may have experienced something difficult involving a male, so she’ll need patience, kindness, and understanding. With time and gentle reassurance, Venus begins to trust—and when she does, her love is deep, loyal, and incredibly special. She’s searching for a calm, loving home that will let her move at her own pace and show her what safety and unconditional love truly mean. In return, Venus will offer quiet companionship, sweet moments, and a heart full of devotion. If you believe the most beautiful bonds are built with patience and love, Venus may be the one you’ve been waiting for ##2620615##

Story
Meet Red Red first came to us as a stray, and shortly after arriving we learned he was heartworm positive. After months of treatment, rest, and lots of love, this sweet boy is officially healthy, heartworm-free, and ready for his forever home. At 8 years old, Red is the perfect mix of adventure buddy and couch companion. He gets along well with other dogs and truly enjoys making new friends. Red is a cattle dog through and through — smart, loyal, and just a little mouthy (it’s his breed’s way of communicating!). Because of this, he would do best in a home without children. His dream home? - A farm buddy to tag along on daily chores -Car rides with the windows down -Porch sitting at sunset  -Late-night cuddles on the couch -Cat free If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick who will stick by your side through every adventure, Red might just be your guy. Interested in giving this sweet boy the home he deserves? Come meet him! Have other dogs? Bring them along for a meet and greet. ##2396017##

Story
Meet Birdie! If you ordered sass, spunk, and cuteness in one tiny package… Birdie would show up at your door. At 2 years old, this heeler mix is equal parts personality and love. She’s great with other dogs, absolutely adores kids, and will do just about anything for a treat (truly… she goes bonkers ). She knows how to sit and is always ready to show off for a snack. Now let’s talk about that signature heeler attitude — Birdie is a little vocal. She has thoughts. She has feelings. And she will gladly share them with you. It’s part of her charm and honestly just makes her even more entertaining. We believe Birdie would thrive in a home with other dogs. She bonds closely with her furry friends and feels most confident when she has a buddy by her side. If you already have pups at home, bring them for a meet and greet! Birdie isn’t just looking for a home — she’s looking for her people. Birdie's sister Pearl is here as well and looking for her forever home.  ##2040664##
