Story
We recently moved to Weatherford to be closer to our grandbabies, and with our jobs requiring frequent travel, we’re no longer able to give Jersey the time and attention he deserves. He’s a loyal, loving 10-year-old German Shepherd/Collie who thrives when he has space to run and play. Jersey isn’t used to small children, and he can be hesitant around strangers-sometimes barking when he feels unsure. He does best in a calm, patient home with plenty of room and adults who understand his personality. He’s a wonderful dog who just needs the right environment to feel safe and happy. If you or someone you know might be a good fit for him, please reach out as soon as possible. Please contact Melanie Latimer at (xxx) xxx-xxxx

Story
Sam and his sister, Pepper, were found as strays in the county and taken in by a wonderful family who gave them a safe place to land. Unfortunately, due to changing circumstances, they're now looking for loving forever homes. Sam is a friendly, active boy who gets along great with other dogs. He does not do well with cats or livestock, so he'll need a home without them. He is comfortable in a crate, walks nicely on a leash, and enjoys car rides, making him an excellent companion for adventures. Because Sam hasn't spent much time living loose inside a home, he may need some help with potty training and adjusting to indoor life. With consistency and patience, he should settle into a routine. He also needs a secure yard and supervision when outside, as he's been known to jump fences if given the opportunity. Sam is neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. He is heartworm positive and has started the slow-kill method of treatment. If you're looking for a loyal companion who's ready for a fresh start, Sam is hoping to find a family that will give him the love, guidance, and forever home he deserves.

Story
We have five adorable 7-month-old female Blue Heeler mixes looking for families of their very own! These girls are full of energy, incredibly playful, and ready for all the adventures that come with being a young pup. 🐶 At 7 months old, they are still very much puppies and are learning what it means to be a good family dog. They are not fully potty trained yet, so their new families will need to be patient and willing to continue working with them. They will also need to learn all the basics, including leash manners, basic commands, and good house manners. These girls absolutely love people and are always excited to get attention and spend time with their humans. Their playful personalities and endless puppy energy make them wonderful candidates for active families who are ready for the fun—and responsibility—that comes with raising a young dog! 🥰 If you're looking for a young, energetic companion who will grow alongside your family, one of these sweet Blue Heeler mixes could be the perfect match. They have so much potential and are just waiting for someone to give them the guidance, patience, and love they need to become amazing adult dogs! She is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed.
