Story
Hi there! I'm Sable, a vibrant 2-year-old mixed-breed Collie dog, bursting with enthusiasm for outdoor adventures, especially playing with fellow dogs. 🐕As I continue to learn gentleness, I appreciate having a cozy retreat to unwind when feeling shy. A kennel or smaller room provides me with the perfect sanctuary. 🐕Let's talk about my passion for treats! As a foodie, I'm highly motivated by rewards, which makes training a delightful experience. 🐕While I enjoy walking, I sometimes get overexcited and pull on the leash - there's just so much to explore! With guidance, I'll master the art of walking by your side. 🐕When meeting new people, I might feel a bit apprehensive, but with patience, I warm up quickly. I adore pets, but please approach me gently. Loud noises can startle me, causing me to seek refuge. This is an opportunity for us to work together to build my confidence. My dream is to find a loving companion who will support me in becoming the best version of myself. Could you be that special someone? Available through Weatherford Wags rescue

Some pets are in the Shelter and others in Foster homes. Please read the bio & email the address listed in the bio.   Additionally for CATS you  may email  JShelton@eulesstx.gov and for DOGS, email trinitygapclub@gmail.com       Meet Panda Panda is a sweet, loving Terrier / smooth-coat Border Collie mix with a heart as soft as her favorite blankets. She’s spayed, fully vetted, and ready for her forever home. Panda showed up as a stray at the Euless shelter after having a litter of puppies. She was emaciated and malnourished, but with lots of TLC in foster care, she’s blossoming into the happy, affectionate girl she was always meant to be. Why Panda is special:     •    Great with all people and very people-oriented     •    Smart and social with other dogs     •    House-trained and doesn’t need a kennel     •    Knows sit and takes treats gently     •    Eats well (very enthusiastically!) and is gaining healthy weight     •    Loves soft beds, cozy blankets, and sunny spots     •    Enjoys curling up next to her Lab mix foster “sister”     •    Breaks out an adorable wiggle-wag when she’s happy     •    Transitioned easily from shelter life to a home environment Panda clearly seems to have lived in a home before and thrives in a calm, loving space. While we don’t yet know how she is with cats or young children, she has shown herself to be adaptable, gentle, and eager to please. Panda is ready for a forever family who will continue giving her the love and security she deserves. Interested in adopting Panda? Contact: steffeniegaprescue@gmail.comJanuary 17, 2026, 10:27 am

Available for adoption, meet Bear! This very handsome boy is about 7 months old and weighs around 45 pounds. He and his brother Teddy have been doing great in their foster home. They are loving, sweet, eager to please and listen to commands. They have been learning so much – potty manners (they're getting there), how to behave around cats, what “no” means. They discovered they love lake water! Both Bear and Teddy are neutered and up to date on shots. Adoption fee is $140. If you are interested in adopting Bear or Teddy (or both!) contact Linda at 817-564-2085.
We'll also keep you updated on Teddy's adoption status with email updates.
