Story
Zelda is a fun-loving and sweet dog who enjoys spending time with our two other dogs. While she may not always be the first one to greet you at the door, she absolutely loves pets, cuddles, and being close to her people. She also enjoys her quiet moments and can often be found happily napping on the couch. Zelda’s favorite thing in the world is going on walks. She is at her happiest when she is outdoors, running around, exploring, and enjoying fresh air. Treats are also high on her list of favorite things! Recently, my wife and I got married and blended our family with her calico cat. Zelda is a well-trained dog and can calmly be in the same room with the cat, but she has had a difficult time fully adapting. At times, she becomes a little too curious and friendly toward the cat, so we have had to constantly supervise interactions between them.because we want the best possible environment for both Zelda and our cat, we have made the very difficult decision to look for a loving new home❤

Story
Howlywood Undead was brought in as a stray and was never reclaimed. He is a friendly, rambunctious boy who absolutely loves people and thrives on attention. He has a big personality and isn’t shy about using his voice—especially when left alone—so apartment living would likely not be the best fit for him. Howlywood is great with kids, strangers, and cats, but he is not good with other dogs or livestock, so a home where he can be the only dog is recommended. He is potty trained when taken out frequently and does best with a consistent routine. He did well being left alone and will continue to thrive with structure and regular outings. True to his heeler breed, Howlywood can be mouthy and does like to nip, and he can jump up which may result in scratches. This behavior is not aggressive, but adopters should be prepared to work on manners and provide appropriate outlets for his energy. He loves going on walks and enjoys getting out and about. Howlywood walks fairly well on a leash but can be very excitable and is still learning to walk calmly at your side. He rides great in the car and loves attention, being pet, cuddling up, and cozy warm blankets. His foster describes him as a great dog who just wants to be loved. Howlywood Undead is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm negative, and on prevention.

Story
Meet Paloma, a stunning and intelligent adult Cattle Dog/Collie mix with the athleticism and independence to match her beauty! This girl is the definition of a strong, confident lady, and she’s always ready for an adventure—whether it’s a game of fetch with her larger, playmate pals or a good ol’ squirrel-chasing session in the yard.Paloma’s a dream when it comes to house and crate training. She’s well-mannered in the home, although she’ll need to learn the specific rules of her forever family. She’s got no problem sharing a blankie and snuggling up in bed—she’s a quiet, respectful bed buddy who loves being close to her humans, but never takes over the space (she's too polite for that!).Car rides? Absolutely! And when she’s not on the road, you’ll often find Paloma perched at the highest point of the yard, keeping an eye out for any squirrels or cats that might be testing her boundary patrol skills. No one gets past her watchful gaze!Paloma’s ideal home would be with someone who can make her feel special—she’s a one-and-only type of gal, and she thrives on that close bond. She’s fine with a crate when necessary, but she prefers the company of her people. Expect her to be a devoted, loyal companion who will love you with all her heart. If you're looking for a smart, strong, and playful girl with a heart full of love to give, Paloma might just be the perfect match! She is spayed, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. If you are interested in learning more about Paloma, please text Liz at 214-616-6128. If you are interested in meeting & potentially adopting her, please find out application here Meet Mojo, the boxer with a heart full of joy and a tail that never stops wagging! This happy, wiggly boy is always ready for fun and would love to have a furry sibling to romp around with. Mojo is social and playful with other dogs but may be a little too enthusiastic for kitties or smaller pups. He came to us with a broken rear leg that has since been repaired, though he was left with his own unique stride. Don’t worry—it doesn't slow him down at all! While Mojo may be a bit shy initially, he quickly warms up to people and will soon be your best friend. He’s neutered, heartworm-negative, microchipped, crate trained, and is just waiting for the right family to love him as much as he will love them!If you're looking for a sweet, playful companion who’ll bring endless smiles, Mojo might be your perfect match! https://www.shelter2rescue.org/adoptable-pets If you are interested in fostering a pet , please visit our website www.shelter2rescue.org to fill out an application
