HONORARY GREAT DANE SEEKING A FOREVER FAMILY!They say good things come to those who wait, but Oso has been waiting three years—and he’s ready for his forever home.Located in Ada, OklahomaDOB: 07/28/2014Oso is a spirited collie mix and an honorary member of the SRGDRR family. While he may not have the height of a Great Dane, he has the heart of one. After losing his longtime companion, Chico, Oso’s heart is still full of love and he’s ready to share it with a family of his own.Why You’ll Love Oso:Perpetual Puppy Energy: Oso is joyful, playful, and full of life. He loves yard zoomies, chasing a ball, and staying active with his people.Affectionate and Gentle: Oso is incredibly loving and thrives on companionship. He enjoys being close to his people, whether it’s for a walk, playtime, or cuddling on the couch.Loves the Outdoors: He enjoys wide-open spaces to run and play and is especially fond of water.Life-Ready Companion: Oso is house-trained, crate-trained, and does well on car rides. He adapts easily to daily life but thrives in a home that keeps him mentally and physically engaged.Oso’s Ideal Home:Dog Friends: He gets along well with female dogs. He can be selective with male dogs, but slow, proper introductions can work with the right match.Kids: Oso would do best with dog-savvy children who understand the balance between fun and respect.Other Pets: He has not been fully introduced to cats, but his friendly and curious nature gives us hope.Space: A home with room to run and play would be ideal for this active, intelligent boy. After three long years of waiting, Oso is ready to be your adventure partner, your couch-side snuggler, and your loyal companion for life. He’s looking for a home where he will be cherished, loved, and celebrated for the sweet, exuberant dog he is.=========================To apply to adopt me, please fill out the application form!https://form.jotform.com/51994996709176For more information, please email us at rescueme@srgdrr.org. Story
🐾 Meet Miles — your future adventure buddy! 🐾 Hey there! I’m Miles, and if you’re looking for fun, energy, and a whole lot of personality… I’m your guy! My story started on a quiet East Texas county road, where I waited patiently at a gate for days — through storms and everything — hoping my people would come back. They didn’t… but that just means my real family is still out there, and I can’t wait to find them! ❤️ Now let’s talk about the important stuff… ME! I’m about 1–2 years old and FULL of life. Seriously — my foster family says I’ve got some impressive parkour skills (don’t worry, I’ll give you a demo 😎). I’m athletic, playful, and always ready for the next adventure, whether that’s zooming around the yard or learning something new. I already know how to “sit” (pretty proud of that one), and I’ve got great kennel manners. I’m also doggy door trained — because convenience matters, right? I LOVE other dogs and really want a playmate who can keep up with me. If you’ve got an active pup at home, we could be the ultimate duo! I’m still figuring out cats… they’re interesting, but I’m not totally sure what to do with them yet. On a leash, I might start off a little excited (okay… very excited 😅), but I settle down once I get going. There’s just so much to see and do! Because I’m a high-energy Heeler mix, I’ll need: • A home ready for fun and activity • A dog friend (bonus points!) • A 6 ft fence for my zoomies and acrobatics At the end of the day, I’m not just all energy — I’ve got a huge heart and so much love to give. I’ve been waiting a long time for my person… maybe it’s you? I’m currently adoptable through Angel Paws Advocates in Tyler, Texas. I promise to bring the fun, the laughs, and a lifetime of love. 💙🐾

Story
Meet Bandit!Bandit is the sweetest mixed-breed boy who has been patiently waiting his whole life for his big break, and now it’s finally his turn. As the last of his litter, he grew up in the shelter watching his siblings get adopted one by one, yet he’s remained a happy, affectionate, and playful pup with so much love to give. Bandit is dog-friendly, loves exploring new places, enjoys an active lifestyle, and is especially known for giving the most enthusiastic hugs. He hasn’t been cat-tested yet, but that can be arranged, and due to his size and energy level, he would do best in a home with older kids who can keep up with his fun-loving nature. Treats are truly the way to his heart—one snack and a smile and you’ll have a loyal friend for life. Bandit is more than ready to leave shelter life behind and finally experience the warmth and security of a real family, and after being overlooked for far too long, he’s hoping you might be the one to change his story. To make an appointment to meet Bandit, please complete your application at this link: https://PetsFurPeople.org/pre-application/ Follow it up with a phone call. Story
*Meet Rick – Your Adventure Buddy with a Heart of Gold. Rick is a Heeler mix who’s looking for a fresh start after being returned through no fault of his own. After spending 4 years in a home, his owner had to make the difficult decision to give him up due to an out-of-state move. Now, Rick is ready to find a forever family that will stick by his side for good. This handsome guy is everything you’d expect from a Heeler mix—smart, energetic, and always ready for action! Rick would love a home where he can stay active, whether that’s walks, playtime, or just being your loyal sidekick throughout the day. He’s house trained and already knows how to be a great companion in a home. Rick gets along well with other dogs and enjoys having friends to play with. Not sure how he feels about cats just yet, but a cat test can absolutely be arranged. Rick is also super friendly and loves being around people—he’ll happily soak up attention and be your constant shadow. After losing the only home he’s known for years, Rick deserves stability, love, and a second chance at forever. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion who’s ready to jump into life with you, Rick might just be your guy. Come meet Rick and give him the happy ending he’s been waiting for. *To make an appointment to meet Rick, please complete your application at this link: https://PetsFurPeople.org/pre-application/ Follow it up with a phone call.
