Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Collette! Collette is a 3‑year‑old, 35lb moderate‑energy sweetheart with a gentle soul and a fun personality. She will start out shy, but once she trusts you, she becomes an incredibly affectionate companion who loves to be close to her people. Collette is house-trained, dog door trained and crate trained. She sleeps in her kennel each night—it’s her safe and cozy space. Collette loves deeply and will thrive with patient, kind people. Give her a few days and she’ll be your best friend! When meeting strangers she is initially skittish and may bark when someone new comes into the home, but after a few minutes she’ll come over for a sniff and will relax. She would do best with kids age 10+ and are patient with shy dogs. Collette would probably be happiest as an only dog, though she gets along well with other dogs and has done great in group settings! A slow intro is always helpful but not necessarily required. She could definitely live with a calm, confident doggy friend. She has not lived with cats, but she does show interest in them on walks. Likely best in a no‑cat home. What She Loves Best Chewing: Yak cheese bars (her absolute favorite!), sticks, and bones. She rarely chews items that aren’t hers and is very respectful with toys. She loves belly rubs, cozy spaces, her kennel, and hanging out under the bed as well as daily walks (she’s fabulous on leash!) gentle adventures, exploring the outdoors with her humans. Collette will thrive in a home that offers a yard for zoomies when she has bursts of energy. A doggie door is a bonus—she likes the security of being able to come back inside when she’s ready. She’s a true “inside dog” and prefers being inside unless someone is out in the yard with her. She rarely barks, even with neighboring dogs. Her biggest need, though, is a calm, patient family who understands her gentle, sometimes anxious nature and can provide structure and reassurance. Collette is ready to find her forever family. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Greetings!!  If you’re looking for a best friend, look no further.  I’m Cheeko, and I'm a super fun guy. My favorite thing to do is run around and play with my siblings and give kisses to my foster mom.   I am good with other most other dogs, dog savvy children, and I have been exposed to ranch animals and done well with them, as well. I am just 2 years old and I'm listed as a collie mix - probably with some husky in me, too! I weigh approximately 45 pounds. I am house trained and never have accidents when I have access to the doggy door. I'm super ready to find my forever family! Could it be with you?    Apply to meet me today at https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplicationVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2026, 6:23 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Grizzy (nickname Grizz)! Grizz is a 5 month old female Border Collie mix. She weighs about 20 lbs, expected to be about 50 lbs full grown. This sweet girl is the perfect blend of the calm love bug, living for naps and cuddles, and the fun loving puppy, this little lady is always ready to play and is usually the instigator for Wrestle Mania! She loves to pounce on and pin down her bigger brother during play time but is happy to be the target too. She is great and super friendly with dogs of any size; She plays well and is submissive with them when needed. She is great with humans of all sizes too.   She is fully crate trained. She sleeps in her crate every night without a sound and hangs out in there when she needs a break. She’s always well behaved and quiet when she’s in her “safe space”.   She is doing great with potty training but still needs a little work with frequent potty breaks. She walks very well on a leash, we’re working on some leash reactivity, though she’s already improving!   Grizz is always eager for new things! She is always down for a walk or a new adventure. New things to see and sniff? Yes please! She’s great at car rides, either in a crate or on a lap. Did I mention she’s a world class sunbather in her down time? ☀️️   Grizzy girl is ready for her forever home! She’ll make a great addition to any family with lots of love to give and receive! Story
Miss Polly’s story is one of strength, resilience, and learning to trust again. She first came to us from South Salt Lake after being found with a severely injured foot — likely from being caught in a trap and bravely freeing herself. After the shelter repaired her leg, Polly joined our rescue and headed straight into a foster home to begin healing. Just a week later, Polly surprised everyone by giving birth to six puppies! With so much change happening at once, Polly came back to our facility to safely raise her babies. Like many new moms in an unfamiliar place, she was simply doing her best to protect her little ones while navigating a brand new environment. To ensure both Polly and her puppies received the care they needed, her babies were temporarily cared for by a partner rescue for bottle feeding. During that time, Polly had the chance to decompress and build trust with our team — and she quickly showed us her sweet and affectionate side. When her puppies returned, she recognized them immediately and, thanks to her growing confidence with people, allowed us to help care for them. All six of Polly’s puppies have since found loving homes — and now it’s Polly’s turn 💕 After her spay, Polly truly blossomed. With guidance from our vet, she also underwent an amputation to remove the remainder of her injured leg — and she is now a proud three-legged girl who doesn’t let anything slow her down! She loves to run, play, and enjoys the company of other dogs of all sizes. Polly would do best in a home without cats, as she finds them a little too exciting to chase. She does wonderfully with kids and is friendly with new people — though she can be a bit shy with some men at first. With a gentle introduction, she warms up beautifully. Miss Polly has been an incredible mama — now she’s ready to just be someone’s beloved girl.
