Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi there! My name is Trinity Santos and I’m a sweet almost 1 year-old Collie/Shepherd mix (birthday is 3/12), and I’m about 45 pounds—which is probably right around the size I’ll stay. I’m the perfect medium-sized pup: big enough for adventures, but still great for cuddles! One thing people notice right away is my beautiful eyes—they’re two different colors, which makes me pretty special (and I hear it makes me extra photogenic too!). The second thing they notice is my SUPER SOFT fur. Hugging me is like having your own minky soft bestie. I’m a friendly, happy girl who loves to play with other dogs. It’s unknown if I am good with cats since I haven’t been around them. I’m still young and full of enthusiasm, so sometimes I get so excited to see people that I jump up to say hello. Because of that, I might do best in a home with older kids who won’t mind my enthusiastic greetings while I keep learning my manners. The good news is that I’m really smart and eager to learn, just like my Collie and Shepherd relatives. With a little training and consistency, I’ll do really well and love having things to learn and activities to do with my people.  At my foster home I’ve already learned to go potty outside (on a schedule), eat nicely next to my foster dog brother, sleep all night in my crate, “sit” and “high five.” As a high energy dog, I need daily walks along with mental and physical workouts (aka playtime). Once I'm tired out from running and having fun,  I’m happy to settle down and relax. Mostly, I just want a home where I can be loved, included, and given the chance to keep becoming the best dog I can be. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with a sweet heart, playful spirit, soft fur, and unforgettable eyes, I might be your girl. I can’t wait to meet you!   Apply now to adopt me at  Welcome to Rescue Rovers Apply to meet me at  https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2026, 10:51 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. NEW RESCUE #womancrushwednesday Meet Collette - A Sweet, Quirky Girl With a Cat&#226&#128&#145Like Charm Collette is a sweet, sensitive, quirky little dog who just wants love, routine, and a calm environment. She’s loyal, affectionate, and deeply endearing in her own quiet way. With patience and kindness, she’ll reward you with trust, companionship, and all the soft, cat&#226&#128&#145like sweetness you can imagine. Collette is a 3&#226&#128&#145year&#226&#128&#145old, 35 lbs. moderate&#226&#128&#145energy sweetheart with a gentle soul and a big personality. She may start out shy, but once she trusts you, she becomes an incredibly affectionate companion who just wants to be close to her people. Personality & Temperament With her humans: Very friendly and loving once she warms up. She forms deep bonds and thrives with patient, kind people. With strangers: Initially skittish and may bark when meeting someone new indoors, but given time, she’ll come over for a sniff and eventually relax. With kids: Best suited for homes with kids age 10+ and are patient with shy dogs. With dogs: Gets along well with other dogs and has done great in group settings! A slow intro is always helpful but not necessarily required. With cats: Not aggressive, but she does show interest in them on walks. Likely best in a no&#226&#128&#145cat home or with careful management. Unique quirks: She has a cat&#226&#128&#145like side—she may rest under the bed, gently place her paws on your chest for pets, and quietly observe the world around her. What She Loves Chewing: Yak cheese bars (her absolute favorite!), sticks, and bones. She rarely chews items that aren’t hers and is very respectful with toys. Comfort: Belly rubs, cozy spaces, her kennel, and hanging out under the bed. Activities: Daily walks, gentle adventures, exploring the outdoors with her humans. Ideal Home Collette will thrive in a home that offers: A yard for zoomies when she has bursts of energy. A calm, patient family who understands her gentle, sometimes anxious nature. A doggie door is a bonus—she likes the security of being able to come back inside when she’s ready. Older kids and possibly another friendly dog companion. Training & Habits Collette is house-trained. She needs to go out first thing in the morning; waiting too long may lead to accidents. She knows how to use a doggie door and used one in a previous home. Collette prefers being inside unless someone is out in the yard with her. Rarely barks, even with neighboring dogs. Sleeps in her kennel each night—it’s her safe and cozy space, always treated as positive, never as punishment. Adventures & Behavior Has gone camping and does great off-leash with other dogs—she stays nearby and returns when called. If she slips out the front, she typically waits by the door rather than roaming. She truly loves her home and her people. Walks beautifully on a leash now and has made huge progress with confidence. She’s truly a special girl with a big heart—and she’s ready to share it with the right family. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Bonded Senior Sweethearts Looking for a Soft Place to Land    Miss Mayze (9, tan) and Serena Marie (7, speckled) are two loving senior girls searching for a forever home — together. After their beloved owner passed away, they found themselves in rescue, and now they’re simply hoping for comfort, stability, and a family with a true heart of gold to help them live out their golden years side by side.   Miss Mayze – The Gentle Old Lady   Miss Mayze is a sweet, older soul who prefers a calm and peaceful home. She’s low energy, housetrained, and coexists beautifully with other dogs and cats. She enjoys the simple things — especially a comfy bed and a quiet place to rest near her people.   She is hard of hearing and has some difficulty getting around, and she will need a daily liver supplement to help her continue living her best life. Miss Mayze is in her golden chapter and is looking for a family who will love and cherish her through the remainder of her journey on earth.   Serena Marie – The Sweet Companion   Serena Marie is a gentle, playful 7-year-old who is also housetrained and wonderful with other dogs and cats. While she’s not overly active, she does need a committed adopter who will help her return to a healthy weight with proper diet and regular exercise.   She’ll thrive with routine, encouragement, and daily walks — and she’ll reward you with affection and loyalty.   Why Adopt a Senior?   Senior dogs are the hidden treasures of rescue. They’re past the puppy chaos, already housetrained, and deeply grateful for love and stability. What you see is what you get — steady companionship, calm energy, and hearts full of devotion.   Miss Mayze and Serena Marie must stay together. They’ve already lost their person; we won’t let them lose each other.   If you have a peaceful home, a soft couch, and a compassionate heart ready for two deserving senior ladies, these girls are waiting to give you their quiet, unconditional love.   If you'd like to meet Miss Mayze and Serena Marie, please apply here: https://bit.ly/RRAdoptionApplication   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2026, 6:23 pm
