Freckles across his nose, a little black “Batman mask,” happy tippy-taps when he’s excited, and a heart that clearly wants to belong… this is Holliday. Equal parts goofy charm and affectionate shadow, Holliday is the kind of dog who leans all the way into love. His biggest dream? A couch, a person, and permission to pretend he’s a lap dog. From the moment you meet him, Holliday’s affectionate nature is easy to see. He absolutely lights up when people give him attention and has a charming little habit of doing “tippy taps” with his feet when he’s happy or excited. It’s the kind of happy motion that makes everyone around him smile whether they are meeting for the first time or its a familiar connection. And inside its only sweeter, he is affectionate and his aspirations for lap-dog life really shine. Holliday is more than happy to make the first move and will come in close to soak up the love and lean in for a new nestling nose kisses. He is still learning some of the everyday things that come with the cozy life as a family dog. For example, couches were a new concept to him. When invited up, he wasn’t quite sure how to get there at first and needed a little boost. Moments like that tell us he’s likely still discovering what a comfortable home life looks like. The good news is that he’s eager to connect with people, smart and very responsive to guidance, which makes him a wonderful boy to open your heart and home to. On leash, Holliday is enthusiastic and currently pulls a bit, especially when he sees other dogs he’d like to meet. Much of his life before rescue life was spent on a very short leash outdoors so the world is understandably very exciting to him right now. With a confident understanding handler he has been making great progress with continued leash training. He is also very responsive to direction, correction, and listens well when told “no.” With other dogs, Holliday shows friendly curiosity. When meeting dogs he likes to sniff hello and then wander off to explore the yard. Play is still a bit of a mystery to him, but with the right dog companion we have seen he learns quickly and is easily invited to play even if she doesn’t know the steps after that. When meeting new dogs he reads them well and respects boundaries and limits easily. We can see him being a wonderful fit for a home with medium-energy, similarly sized dogs. Holliday is also very food motivated, which is wonderful for training. He eats enthusiastically and takes treats gently. Because Holliday can be a little jumpy, which he is working on, when he’s excited to receive affection, we think he’ll do best in a home with older kids who won’t be knocked over by his enthusiastic greetings. His affection truly comes from a joyful place and is gentle, not rough or heavy footed. He just hasn’t quite learned yet that hugs don’t always have to involve all four feet leaving the ground, but some people do enjoy those big, warm dog hugs. A home with a yard would be ideal for Holliday while he continues building his leash skills, giving him space to stretch his legs and explore safely. With time, guidance, and a loving environment, we think this freckled little masked hero is going to blossom into a wonderful, lap-loving, whole-new-world companion and sidekick. Meet Bumble Bee Honey Blossom! 💛🐾 Bumble is a sweet, affectionate girl who absolutely ADORES her people. She bonds quickly, loves attention, and will happily hop up for cuddles, affection, and a little reassurance when she’s feeling unsure. Once she decides you’re her person, she wants to be right by your side. Bumble is still building confidence around other dogs, but she has already made wonderful progress. She does best with slow, thoughtful introductions and calm dogs who respect her space. At first, she may choose to keep her distance, but given a little time, her curiosity starts to shine. She has gone from avoiding unfamiliar dogs to walking around with them, sniffing them, playing with toys nearby, and even settling comfortably in the same room. When she feels overwhelmed, she is learning to walk away rather than react. Right now, Bumble would do best in a home with a confident, gentle dog who has a calm play style and won’t overwhelm her. She may also be able to live with a calm, dog-savvy cat with proper introductions. Bumble is a young cattle dog mix, so she will thrive with an active family who can give her walks, enrichment, playtime, and continued training. Her energy is currently moderate, though we wouldn’t be surprised to see more playful puppy energy come out as she becomes comfortable in her new home! She is still learning some household manners too. Tempting garbage and non-toy items can catch her attention, but she redirects nicely when given an appropriate toy instead. She is also very food motivated, which makes training much easier, although she’ll need some guidance learning that every food bowl isn’t automatically hers! Kennel time is still a work in progress, and she may need treats and patience while she learns that her kennel is a safe place to relax. She can also be vocal when separated, so continued confidence-building will be important. Bumble would be a wonderful match for someone looking for a cuddly, loyal companion who just needs a little patience while she learns the ropes. Give this sweet girl time, consistency, and love, and you’ll get to watch her confidence blossom right in front of you. 💕

If Cassie Cowgirl could plan the perfect afternoon, it would probably involve a patch of sunshine, some fresh air, and nowhere in particular she needs to be. This sweet cattle dog has a calm, content presence that makes her easy to enjoy.
