Freckles across his nose, a little black “Batman mask,” happy tippy-taps when he’s excited, and a heart that clearly wants to belong… this is Holliday. Equal parts goofy charm and affectionate shadow, Holliday is the kind of dog who leans all the way into love. His biggest dream? A couch, a person, and permission to pretend he’s a lap dog. From the moment you meet him, Holliday’s affectionate nature is easy to see. He absolutely lights up when people give him attention and has a charming little habit of doing “tippy taps” with his feet when he’s happy or excited. It’s the kind of happy motion that makes everyone around him smile whether they are meeting for the first time or its a familiar connection. And inside its only sweeter, he is affectionate and his aspirations for lap-dog life really shine. Holliday is more than happy to make the first move and will come in close to soak up the love and lean in for a new nestling nose kisses. He is still learning some of the everyday things that come with the cozy life as a family dog. For example, couches were a new concept to him. When invited up, he wasn’t quite sure how to get there at first and needed a little boost. Moments like that tell us he’s likely still discovering what a comfortable home life looks like. The good news is that he’s eager to connect with people, smart and very responsive to guidance, which makes him a wonderful boy to open your heart and home to. On leash, Holliday is enthusiastic and currently pulls a bit, especially when he sees other dogs he’d like to meet. Much of his life before rescue life was spent on a very short leash outdoors so the world is understandably very exciting to him right now. With a confident understanding handler he has been making great progress with continued leash training. He is also very responsive to direction, correction, and listens well when told “no.” With other dogs, Holliday shows friendly curiosity. When meeting dogs he likes to sniff hello and then wander off to explore the yard. Play is still a bit of a mystery to him, but with the right dog companion we have seen he learns quickly and is easily invited to play even if she doesn’t know the steps after that. When meeting new dogs he reads them well and respects boundaries and limits easily. We can see him being a wonderful fit for a home with medium-energy, similarly sized dogs. Holliday is also very food motivated, which is wonderful for training. He eats enthusiastically and takes treats gently. Because Holliday can be a little jumpy, which he is working on, when he’s excited to receive affection, we think he’ll do best in a home with older kids who won’t be knocked over by his enthusiastic greetings. His affection truly comes from a joyful place and is gentle, not rough or heavy footed. He just hasn’t quite learned yet that hugs don’t always have to involve all four feet leaving the ground, but some people do enjoy those big, warm dog hugs. A home with a yard would be ideal for Holliday while he continues building his leash skills, giving him space to stretch his legs and explore safely. With time, guidance, and a loving environment, we think this freckled little masked hero is going to blossom into a wonderful, lap-loving, whole-new-world companion and sidekick. Little, fluffy, and ridiculously cute, Moonpie is the kind of dog that makes you do a double take. With her soft, fluffy ears that look like they belong on a little Furby doll and her fun, sweet personality, she’s basically a walking bundle of happiness. She has that playful, spunky side that makes life more fun, paired perfectly with a gentle, affectionate nature that just wants to be close to her people. Moonpie is little, lovable, and full of charm. The kind of dog who turns everyday moments into something sweeter just by being there. She is a rescue dog and with any rescue dog, it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Moonpie is very dog friendly and she has done great with all the dogs we have introduced her to. She is respectful and patient with all different types of play styles, and tolerant with even the pushiest of dogs. Every now and then, she will give a correction if a dog is being rude or all up in her business for too long, but it is always fair. Moonpie is not overly playful with other dogs; she is more of the hangout and enjoy the nice weather type of girly. When Moonpie does play, she has a gentle and bouncy play style and from what we have seen, she seems to enjoy playtime with aloof, happy-go-lucky dogs. If you don't have other dogs, that's totally fine! Moonpie does not need the company of another dog to help her feel comfortable and open up. She is a happy and sweet little lady all on her own and we're sure she wouldn't mind being the center of your world. Moonpie has spent time around a cat and, while she can start off calmly, she ultimately finds cats a little too interesting and engaging. For this reason, we are recommending a home without cats. When it comes to training, Moonpie is a smart girly and treat motivated. She already knows some basic commands such as sit, is easy to walk on a leash, and she is crate and potty trained. Any future additional training you want to do with Moonpie will be so easy with her. She would be a great companion to have around if you work from home because she is quiet, has shown to have great house manners, and will just snuggle up on the couch and snooze while you get your work done. She would also be a great little adventure buddy as well. She loves to explore and is honestly just happy being anywhere as long as she is with you. If there was ever a dog that fully embodied the phrase “man’s best friend,” it’s Cash Bluey. This boy has that loyal, ride-or-die cattle dog personality that makes people absolutely obsessed with the breed. The kind of dog that just wants to be with his person, help you do whatever random task you’re doing, and proudly clock in for the day like he’s your full-time ranch hand even if you’re literally just carrying groceries inside LOL. Cash Bluey has the coolest personality too because while he’s incredibly smart and eager to please, he’s also sweet, grounded, and not over-the-top chaotic like some heelers can be. He has those classic expressive cattle dog ears that somehow manage to make every emotion on his face 10x funnier, the BEST smile, and this loyal soulful presence that makes you feel like you’ve had him your whole life after only a few days. He is a rescue dog and with rescue it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age, but this boy absolutely screams classic heeler personality in all the best ways. Cash is currently fostered in a multi-dog home with dogs of all different sizes and has done really well with all of them. His play style is honestly so funny and very “cattle dog coded” because he’s much more into the bob-and-weave, chase-me-if-you-can type of play rather than full contact wrestling matches LOL. If another dog invites him to play chase, he is ALL about it and looks like he’s having the best time zooming around the yard. But he also knows how to regulate himself really nicely and is great about taking breaks and settling back down too. What we’ve observed is that while Cash does well with dogs, he’s not really the type to instantly become best friends with every new dog he meets in unfamiliar environments. He appreciates respectful introductions and dogs that aren’t immediately all up in his face. Once he settles in though, he coexists beautifully and enjoys having canine companions around him. Cash also met our house cat Biggie and met him appropriately and was very respectful around him. He did not chase Biggie, nor was he bothered by Biggie jumping or doing what cats do. Biggie also felt comfortable around him as well. We do not know if he has ever lived in a home before with a cat and this was our first time seeing him with a cat. If you have a cat in the home, we can arrange for Cash to have a sleepover with a cat upon request. Just let us know! When it comes to people, Cash is very sweet but can be a tiny bit of a slow burn initially in brand new environments or busy situations. Nothing extreme at all, he just likes a second to observe what’s going on and get comfortable first. Once he settles in though, his loyal affectionate side really shines through. He genuinely just wants to make his people happy and seems happiest when he has a purpose, structure, and someone to follow around throughout the day. He’s the kind of dog that bonds deeply and becomes your little sidekick in everything you do. Cash is crate trained, potty trained, walks beautifully on leash, and honestly might even know how to walk in a heel already because he stays so naturally connected to his person while out and about. He already knows commands like sit and down, is extremely treat motivated, and is the type of smart eager-to-please dog that could absolutely learn all kinds of fun tricks and advanced training. Honestly, we would not be surprised at all if someone taught this boy how to dance LOL. He’s incredibly intelligent in that classic working dog kind of way where you can just see his brain constantly processing and learning. As much as Cash loves his people and does great with the dogs in his foster home, we really think his ideal environment would be somewhere calmer with space to breathe. He’s not really a “busy suburban neighborhood with nonstop stimulation and chaos” kind of dog. This boy would THRIVE out in the country, on land, or in a quieter home setting where he can enjoy open space, sniff around the property, help his person with chores, patrol the yard like the important ranch employee he believes he is, and then happily relax afterward. He truly seems happiest when life feels a little slower, calmer, and more grounded. Cash is the kind of dog that cattle dog lovers dream about. Smart, loyal, goofy, trainable, affectionate, and full of personality without being completely off-the-wall wild.
