Oh my goodness, is she happy all the time and has the ability to make every single person around her smile. Her ears do too LOL which are my personal favorite thing about her. Atlanta is more than just happy all the time, she is incredibly smart, loyal, dog friendly, loves every person that she meets, and so entertaining to watch when she plays with toys. She is a beautiful blend of fun and snuggles. She will literally use your foot as it dangles while you work to give herself extra affection. You can say her love language is all physical touch! She is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. One thing is a guarantee with Atlanta is that she is bursting at the seems with love and happinesses that it's contagious. Atlanta dog friendly and has been around a variety of different dogs all with different personalities and temperaments. She is not the playful type with other dogs and is more of a relaxed hangout type of girly that prefers to get attention from people. She is happy to be around dogs that have the same cool, calm, collected tempo as her. Atlanta also appreciates being around dogs that give her space at the beginning to get to know them first. She's a polite and respectful gal that likes for the same energy to be reciprocated. Once’s she’s comfortable, she does the cutest little play bows and loves to zoom around with her new friend in light hearted games of chase. In a home, she would do best with a mellow male dog that enjoys the company of other dogs and isn't looking for a playmate, only looking for company. She'll be perfect for that! Atlanta also does not need another dog in the home, so no worries there if you don't have a dog. She is so loving and affectionate that she has enough love to give that is equivalent to 3 dogs combined. She's something special! Atlanta would also do best in a home with no cats as she was a little too interested in our house cat Biggie. When it comes to training, Atlanta is ready and eager to learn! She loves treats and already knows a few basic commands such a sit and I'm fairly certain she has the foundation of already knowing how to sit pretty. You could probably even teach her how to dance too LOL. Atlanta is fairly easy to walk on a leash and only pulls every so often. Mainly, she'll pull towards something that smells yummy or interesting or she'll want pull towards someone to say hello to. Atlanta really does love every she meets! She responds well to correction and with consistency and practice she'll be walking like a queen on leash. Atlanta has wonderful house manners and is crate and potty trained. Atlanta will thrive with a semi-active family that enjoys frequent outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, going to the beach or even casual play time in the yard. A family or individual who appreciates nature and is ready to explore parks, trails, or snowy landscapes would be perfect. While she loves the great outdoors and loves to explore, Atlanta is also an affectionate gal at home and loves to burry her head into you for love. If you enjoy the outdoors but also cherish time spent relaxing indoors, Atlanta is the perfect fit. She would also do best in a home with a backyard as well. This cutie is Ranger. He is currently 7 months old. We think they may be a Heeler / Australian Cattle dog mix, but with rescue it’s a guess! What matters most is that they are adorable and are one the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. Do you dream of a dog who is wonderful company, loves lap-dog life, and is a one-of-a-kind cutie? You are right where you should be! Meet Dolly! She is fortunate and is being fostered in a loving home where they have shared she is peaceful, easy-going presence and a quiet way of keeping you company -never demanding, never overwhelming, just happy to be near you and part of the moment. She is estimated to be 3 years old and weighs 34 lbs- perfectly pint-sized and petite. Dolly is currently fostered in a loving home where she’s shown what a dream she can be day to day. She’s house trained and crate trained, settles beautifully at home, and will happily warm your lap as soon as offered. She’s affectionate in a soft, understated way with a true love for the resident recliner. She walks nicely on leash and is generally easy to manage, though new environments can make her a bit unsure so living somewhere with peaceful walking spaces will be important. In other words, Dolly would be happiest in a quieter neighborhood or a calm apartment building rather than a busy, city-style lifestyle with lots of noise and constant activity. Think peaceful streets, slower mornings, and a cozy couch (or recliner) to return to. Dolly lives with cats and respects them well. One of her feline housemates enjoys running, which sometimes sparks a very slow, half-hearted chase - more curiosity than intensity - and overall she coexists nicely with cats who understand dog boundaries and people who can read her chase as innocent playfulness. With other dogs, Dolly is polite, she is not initially a playful dog and won’t be the one to start out the play session but she handles being around busy, playful dogs calmly and confidently. She does get the occasional zoomie inspired moment with a dog in her foster home who is easy-going and playful without being pushy. In group settings, she tends to sniff hello and then wander off to contentedly do her own thing. She could live in a home with other dogs as long as they have each other to play with and don’t pressure her to join in. A lower-energy pup-pal who isn’t pushy would be the best fit but it is just as easy to see her being happy as your one-and-only. She hasn’t met littles yet, but we could see her doing well with older kids who will let her take her time to get to know them and build a friendship. She’s not a chaos-loving dog, and we all know that little kids bring their own kind of fun-loving chaos, she just isn't that kind of girl, she’s a quiet companion kind of girl. Every now and then he will give an appropriate correction almost like he's saying "alright now kids, that's enough go bother someone else" LOL like a dad would to his own children. He is simply just happy to hangout and watch the other dogs play. His ideal furry companion would be a gentle, easygoing dog who enjoys a good sunbathe more than a wrestling match. But he's also totally fine being your one and only as well. Chorizo would also do best in a home with no kitty friends as well. Chorizo would love to be with a semi active family in a home with a backyard where he can sunbathe anytime he wants, roll in the grass, explore all the fun smells, and play with toys. He would make a great companion while you garden and relax on the patio enjoying the fresh air. We could also even see him being good in an apartment too. Some dogs burst into a room and some quietly take a spot next to you on the couch. Rusty Cutie Patootie is very much the second kind he is gentle and peaceful. He has a presence that brings a sense of calm wherever he goes there is something comforting about having him nearby he just exists alongside you. His quiet nature makes every small connection feel meaningful, and when he chooses to lean in or linger by it feels so special. Rusty is a handsome cattle dog husky mix who’s about a year and a half old and weighs 60 pounds. He has a quiet presence and a gentle way about him. Rusty isn’t the type to demand attention instead, he stands nearby and softly lets you know he’s happy just being close. At first Rusty may come off as a little reserved but once he settles in he would love to lay next to his people all day. He may not immediately seek out constant affection but he truly appreciates it. Rusty did very well around other dogs. He was very polite, respectful and calm greeting them with sniffs and good manners. Well he didn’t show interest in playing or roughhousing he coexisted amazingly even with dogs who were eager to engage him. Rusty simply prefers to do his own thing. Explore the yard sniffing around or standing nearby taking everything in. Because of this he would do best with the calm, respectful dog sibling who won’t pressure him to play, though he would also be perfectly happy as an only dog soaking up a peaceful routine. When it comes to people Rusty does best when he is given a little time and space to feel comfortable, he can be unsure when people approach him quickly or when there’s a lot going on around him so a quiet, low traffic home would be ideal. Either an apartment or home with a yard could work for him. He does seem a bit uneasy around cars so a less busy area would help him feel more at ease to build confidence. One of his sweetest qualities is how well he did with kids. He showed a gentle calm, presents around them and seemed most comfortable in their company. He would do best with children who understand how to respect a dogs space allowing him to approach on his own terms and not push boundaries. But he is good with kids being crazy and roughhousing. He didn’t react just sat there and watched. Rusty did meet our cat and he did pretty well didn’t react much. I think he would need to get another cat test done to be sure but it is possible he could live with a cat. Rusty is not high energy or demanding. He’s a nice calm, easy-going dog who doesn’t need constant simulation to be happy, he’s a type of dog who would enjoy quiet mornings, long walks and peaceful evenings at home. With time,consistency and patience rusty has all the potential to blossom into an incredible loyal and loving best friend. Big ears, bigger heart, and BEST personality. Atlanta Peaches is the literal definition of happiness! Oh my goodness, is she happy all the time and has the ability to make every single person around her smile. Her ears do too LOL which are my personal favorite thing about her. Atlanta is more than just happy all the time, she is incredibly smart, loyal, dog friendly, loves every person that she meets, and so entertaining to watch when she plays with toys. She is a beautiful blend of fun and snuggles. She will literally use your foot as it dangles while you work to give herself extra affection. You can say her love language is all physical touch! Atlanta dog friendly and has been around a variety of different dogs all with different personalities and temperaments. She is not the playful type with other dogs and is more of a relaxed hangout type of girly that prefers to get attention from people. She is happy to be around dogs that have the same cool, calm, collected tempo as her. Atlanta also appreciates being around dogs that give her space at the beginning to get to know them first. She's a polite and respectful gal that likes for the same energy to be reciprocated. In a home, she would do best with a mellow male dog that enjoys the company of other dogs and isn't looking for a playmate, only looking for company. She'll be perfect for that! She responds well to correction and with consistency and practice she'll be walking like a queen on leash. Atlanta has wonderful house manners and is crate and potty trained. Atlanta will thrive with a semi-active family that enjoys frequent outdoor activities such as hiking, camping, going to the beach or even casual play time in the yard. A family or individual who appreciates nature and is ready to explore parks, trails, or snowy landscapes would be perfect. While she loves the great outdoors and loves to explore, Atlanta is also an affectionate gal at home and loves to burry her head into you for love. This cutie is Ranger. He is currently 7 months old. We think they may be a Heeler / Australian Cattle dog mix, but with rescue it’s a guess! What matters most is that they are adorable and are one the MOST desperate in the entire US based on statistics for where this puppy is from. Shelters in this area are having to euthanize puppies. Talk about main character energy, social butterfly, life of the party, and a total hoot!! His name is Chorizo Bandito and he has the best personality, hands down. He brings so much joy, happiness, and brightens the room with his happy go lucky energy. Chorizo is your personal ray of sunshine. Especially if they’re more on the chill side like he is. Chorizo is friendly and respectful, happy to say hello with a quick sniff, and then do his own thing. He's not really a rough-and-tumble play kind of guy, but he’s totally comfortable hanging around other dogs—even in big playgroups. Every now and then he will give an appropriate correction almost like he's saying "alright now kids, that's enough go bother someone else" LOL like a dad would to his own children. He is simply just happy to hangout and watch the other dogs play. His ideal furry companion would be a gentle, easygoing dog who enjoys a good sunbathe more than a wrestling match. But he's also totally fine being your one and only as well. Chorizo would also do best in a home with no kitty friends as well. Chorizo would love to be with a semi active family in a home with a backyard where he can sunbathe anytime he wants, roll in the grass, explore all the fun smells, and play with toys. He would make a great companion while you garden and relax on the patio enjoying the fresh air. We could also even see him being good in an apartment too. He is quiet in his crate, walks easy on a leash, and wouldn't be bothered passing by other dogs in those smaller apartment hallways. He has great house manners and from what we have seen, he is fully potty trained. He makes himself feel right at home, finding a nice cozy spot to lay down and bonus points if that spot is snuggled up next to you. She’s house trained and crate trained, settles beautifully at home, and will happily warm your lap as soon as offered. She’s affectionate in a soft, understated way with a true love for the resident recliner. She walks nicely on leash and is generally easy to manage, though new environments can make her a bit unsure so living somewhere with peaceful walking spaces will be important. In other words, Dolly would be happiest in a quieter neighborhood or a calm apartment building rather than a busy, city-style lifestyle with lots of noise and constant activity. Think peaceful streets, slower mornings, and a cozy couch (or recliner) to return to. Dolly lives with cats and respects them well. One of her feline housemates enjoys running, which sometimes sparks a very slow, half-hearted chase - more curiosity than intensity - and overall she coexists nicely with cats who understand dog boundaries and people who can read her chase as innocent playfulness. With other dogs, Dolly is polite, she is not initially a playful dog and won’t be the one to start out the play session but she handles being around busy, playful dogs calmly and confidently. She does get the occasional zoomie inspired moment with a dog in her foster home who is easy-going and playful without being pushy. In group settings, she tends to sniff hello and then wander off to contentedly do her own thing. She could live in a home with other dogs as long as they have each other to play with and don’t pressure her to join in. A lower-energy pup-pal who isn’t pushy would be the best fit but it is just as easy to see her being happy as your one-and-only. She hasn’t met littles yet, but we could see her doing well with older kids who will let her take her time to get to know them and build a friendship. Some dogs burst into a room and some quietly take a spot next to you on the couch. Rusty Cutie Patootie is very much the second kind he is gentle and peaceful. He has a presence that brings a sense of calm wherever he goes there is something comforting about having him nearby he just exists alongside you. His quiet nature makes every small connection feel meaningful, and when he chooses to lean in or linger by it feels so special. Rusty is a handsome cattle dog husky mix who’s about a year and a half old and weighs 60 pounds. He has a quiet presence and a gentle way about him. Rusty isn’t the type to demand attention instead, he stands nearby and softly lets you know he’s happy just being close. At first Rusty may come off as a little reserved but once he settles in he would love to lay next to his people all day. He may not immediately seek out constant affection but he truly appreciates it. Rusty did very well around other dogs. He was very polite, respectful and calm greeting them with sniffs and good manners. Well he didn’t show interest in playing or roughhousing he coexisted amazingly even with dogs who were eager to engage him. Rusty simply prefers to do his own thing. Explore the yard sniffing around or standing nearby taking everything in. Because of this he would do best with the calm, respectful dog sibling who won’t pressure him to play, though he would also be perfectly happy as an only dog soaking up a peaceful routine. When it comes to people Rusty does best when he is given a little time and space to feel comfortable, he can be unsure when people approach him quickly or when there’s a lot going on around him so a quiet, low traffic home would be ideal. Either an apartment or home with a yard could work for him. He does seem a bit uneasy around cars so a less busy area would help him feel more at ease to build confidence. One of his sweetest qualities is how well he did with kids. He showed a gentle calm, presents around them and seemed most comfortable in their company. He would do best with children who understand how to respect a dogs space allowing him to approach on his own terms and not push boundaries. But he is good with kids being crazy and roughhousing. He didn’t react just sat there and watched. Rusty did meet our cat and he did pretty well didn’t react much. I think he would need to get another cat test done to be sure but it is possible he could live with a cat. Rusty is not high energy or demanding. He’s a nice calm, easy-going dog who doesn’t need constant simulation to be happy, he’s a type of dog who would enjoy quiet mornings, long walks and peaceful evenings at home. With time,consistency and patience rusty has all the potential to blossom into an incredible loyal and loving best friend. Small dog lovers who have always wanted a big dog- search no more! We have the perfect dog for you! This beautiful girl weighs 55 pounds and is estimated to be 5 years old. We think she is a Kelpie/Husky/shepherd mix, but we aren’t really sure, so we just call her our Texas Special- the very best breed! Trixie is being fostered with nine small grumpy dogs and has been a big foster sister to many more. It is funny to watch her gently play with them, and then she takes it in stride when they growl and snap at her. She shares toys and will lets them take toys from her- even thought she is 6 times their size! In play groups with other big dogs Trixie is very shy and stays on the sidelines. She will sniff calmer dogs, but doesn't want to get in the mix of things. For this reason, we think Trixie would thrive in a home with small dogs. She’s become her little shadow, quietly trailing from room to room to be nearby in hopes of sneaking in a belly rub. Like many herding breeds, Trixie uses her mouth to communicate and can be “mouthy”. She would do best with older kids who understand she is being playful. Looking for a buddy to grab a morning coffee or late night ice cream treat with? Trixie would love to join you! She is an excellent car rider and knows how to “load up”. She is great on the leash and loves to go for walks and to dog friendly stores. She walks by people and dogs with ease. This girl does like to watch squirrels and bunnies- and would give them a chase if allowed. Trixie gets lots of zoomies- and loves to go outside and run laps in the yard. She is not the biggest fan of the crate and will complain for a while, but will settle down when she can no longer see you, for this reason she would not do well in an apartment. **Now fostered in Bothell, WA** Flynn is an almost 6-month-old Australian Shepherd/Pittie mix (we think! It's always a guess with rescue) with velvet-soft white fur and tan splotches that make him look as sweet as he truly is. At about 25 pounds, this little guy has the perfect balance of playful energy and cuddle-bug charm. Flynn is currently fostered with his brother (also available for adoption!), two other dogs, and two kids—and he’s doing wonderfully with them all. He loves to romp around with his doggy friends and play with the kids, then happily curl up for a snuggle session afterward. Flynn hasn't shown any fear when experiencing new things like Halloween costumes and would make a great dog to take everywhere. Flynn loves to pose for the camera and even enjoys going to work with his foster dad and mom. He's a great sounding board but will sleep on the job. He recently had some fun meeting Santa and riding a boat with his foster family! He’s 100% potty trained and is crate trained. Flynn will need thrive in a family committed to continuing his training and socialization. Another dog in home (ideally a few years older) to help show him proper doggy manners and learn from would be a great fit. From those fluffy ears, petite frame, freckles on this face, to those striking blue eyes. He’s a perfect blend of everything that matters. He is very dog friendly and has made friends with all of the dogs we have introduced him to and is currently being fostered in a home with 4 other dogs as well. Blaze loves to play, enjoys a fun wrestling match, is always up for a game of chase, and also appreciates those relaxing moments as well. He has a puppy-like play style that is bouncy, a little mouthy, and is always game for a round of chase. Blaze enjoys those relaxing moments as well, sunbathing on a nice sunny day, and exploring the yard with his doggy pals. In a home he would do best with a doggy friend that enjoys playing, is tolerant of a more mouthy type play, will enjoy a game of tag you're it, and will also appreciate couch snuggles together. Blaze would also do great as you're one and only. He does not need the company of another dog to help her feel comfortable or open up, he is a total love bug once he gets his bearings and would love being the center of your attention. Blaze has also been around our house cat and did great around him. Blaze was playful with Biggie just the way he was playful with his doggy friends. Bouncy, a little mouthy, and enjoyed playing a game of chase. Biggie was not bothered by his playful personality either and joined him in play time as well. So if you have a cat that likes dogs and won't be bothered by his playfulness, they will be the best of friends. Blaze wasn’t all play all the time either with Biggie, they both took breaks and hang out with each other peacefully as well. Blaze is currently also being fostered in a home with cats but his foster’s cats rarely come out, almost as if they aren’t really there. If you have an active cat and are interested in Blaze, we can arrange for him to have a sleepover with a more active cat in the home. Just let us know! Blaze would thrive in a home with a backyard where he can stretch his legs and get all the zoomies his little heart desires. Whether he is in a home with a backyard or an apartment, Blaze would love to be with a semi active family that will play with him, take him on adventures, or even give him some mind puzzles. He would love that too as he loves treats and is so smart! He already knows how to sit, is doing great at polishing his leash skills, and is very eager to please. So anything additional training you want to do with Blaze will be a breeze and enjoyable for you both. He is crate and potty trained too, though on occasion he does like when you toss a treat in his kennel for a little extra incentive. In new environments and with new people, he can be a little shy but trust us when we say, it does not take long for him to be climbing in your lap wanting to give you all the kisses. If you work from home, Blaze will be great company to have! Not to say that you won't get distracted because this little fella will without a doubt make you take work breaks and give him some love.
